“Breakfast buffet was not monitored well enough. Out of a few of popular items both mornings”

“Staff were accommodating for my wife. She was in La Crosse for medical problems. They accommodated us with a handicapped restroom. Room was clean.”

“Did the job for what I needed. Up to date fitness center with new equipment. Clean room. Not the most amazing area but it's right off the highway and about 10 minutes from UW La Crosse.”

“The check-in process was super easy and fast. Our hotel room smelled HEAVILY of cigarettes. Luckily, we weren’t in the hotel much so it didn’t bother us too badly.”

“The hotel itself is beautiful and very clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. My main concern was the strong fragrance being pumped into the hotel. The scent was extremely overwhelming for me and my boyfriend. Unlike many hotels where fragrance is limited to the lobby, this hotel had multiple fragrance dispensers in the hallway corridors as well. The fragrance was so strong that my boyfriend sometimes held his shirt over his face when we had to walk through the hallway. I am also……

“Good”

“The front desk host, Karen, was friendly and very efficient, but the hallways were very dirty and out room smelled like dog. It was also dirty. There was some kind of stain on one of the walls that looked like someone threw coffee on it; the long dressing mirror was dirty; the shower was dirty and had hair in it and looked about 10 years overdue of a remodel. We would have asked for a different room, but its was Oktoberfest, so we knew we wouldn’t have much luck. All in all I guess it was good……

“Things were just ok. Staff wasn’t very friendly or welcoming. Paid more attention to themselves than with making themselves available to customer. Very non/engaging staff.”

“Love the location of this hotel. Stayed here many times.”

“Friendly, helpful staff. Very clean hotel. Great view from my room looking over the Mississippi River.”
