"The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable, it was very small, but that would not deter me from staying there again. It’s old school with real keys. This hotel has been in business since 1912 and it has the charm and character you would expect. It’s right downtown, so restaurants and shopping are literally steps away! They have HOMEMADE breakfast items each morning and they are delicious. They have quiche, breads, muffins and the most fantastic oatmeal. The oatmeal is prepared and portioned in bowls - I added a little hot water & milk then microwaved it- so good! Billy was working the morning we left and he is very helpful and knowledgeable about the area and gave us great directions and ideas for the day. I appreciate that they accept dogs and don’t charge a fortune. If you do have pets you should know there’s no grass or good area to take them to right next to the hotel. If you go towards First Interstate Bank parking lot, there’s a nice stretch of grass right by the sidewalk and a garbage can right there to dispose of your dog’s poop bag. "
