The chef in the lobby restaurant makes homemade delicious tofu - you gotta try it. The hotel is clean and modern. There are only a few restaurants nearby but the hotel restaurant is good.
We really enjoyed our stay there. Easy to get around, friendly stuff, spoke very well english. We love the the ski storage area. We definitely will come back.
The hotel is a little difficult to get to if you don't have a car. The bus runs only a couple of times a day from the airport so plan accordingly and is at the top of a hill (which makes sense for ski but is a trek if you're on your feet). It is a very clean and beautiful property and the staff go above and beyond to be helpful and make your stay comfortable. The views from the room are spectacular.
Modern building, contemporary style, nice color scheme, cheerful and polite staff. Bathroom and shower areas rather small, no convenient place to hang towels or clothes. Bedding was comfortable. Meal options were very limited, especially breakfast was disappointing. Overall, a pleasant stay..
The hotel is right accross the gondola. Staff is super friendly and helpful. All of them speak excellent English. During peak ski season, be sure to reserve dinner at the hotel ahead of time.
Nice hotel with well-equipped facilities. Clean and comfortable room which we all enjoy our stay in your hotel. If can arrange one large room with three bedrooms instead of separate rooms will be perfect.
Beautiful property with some luxurious rooms and great finishes. It’s really a condo, not a hotel, and I would recommend having a car if you visit. It can be very pricey.
Perfect hotel for our needs. Next door to a ski hire shop and immediately opposite the Kitanomine gondola. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. They run a free shuttle service on demand to local restaurants, but there are also several good eateries in walking distance. The hot chocolate was delicious (dark chocolate melted in hot milk). Very friendly and efficient staff. A great stay altogether.
This property is close to the ski resort. It is a new hotel and it is also family-friendly. We come to this hotel around May and therefore it's not in peak season. I think not too many people will choose here except for skiing. However, I like the quiet here and also we have a kitchen to enjoy family time together.
It was a clean hotel. The staff was friendly. However, 1. The tissue box was hidden under the basin deep inside the shelf. 2. The shower area could've been better designed as the water sprayed all over the non-shower area. 3. There were no cups for brushing of teeth.
The property is new and room is well appointed. At check in I was informed about the cleaning schedule.
However they did not clear the rubbish as promised on the next day. It is not great if you are staying for 3 nights. The hotel seems to operate on low staffing because there is no front-desk.
This hotel location is great for skiing because the chairlift is across the street.
I like that the front office staff speaks decent English which is relief in Japan.
Great stay at Fenix Furano in the off season (October). The rooms are international standard with a kitchen and living area, plus a comfortable bedroom. The tub and shower are also excellent and everything is brand new and spotlessly clean. I imagine the rooms here will be very expensive during ski season, as one of the Furano lifts is right in front of the hotel. In October, the room I had was an absolute bargain!
The only issue with my stay was that there was no breakfast available at the hotel. However, the sister property around the corner had a cafe that was open from 7:30 every morning.
Having your own car will make stays here more convenient. Getting in to Furano for restaurants and shops is about a 10-minute drive. There are some places to eat within walking distance of the hotel, but the better places in Furano are down in the town.
The hotel is located at the top of a slope. The hotel rooms are well maintained. The kitchen wares and tools are well stuffed and they provide good quality kitchen tools such as pots, pans, ovens, different type of glasses for different drink, good quality fork n spoon and bowls and plates. Well thought-out space for bedroom, the hall & kitchen area.
Their housekeeping was very efficient. The housekeepers come in a team and within 15mins or so, they would have completed cleaning, mopping and changing out towels etc.
The only thing that is lacking in that facility is onsen. It would be great if the place has an onsen which guests could use it. The nearest onsen is just next door which we have to pay and subject to the hotel timing for non-hotel guests' user.
Otherwise, the place is good for big group of travellers or family with grown kids/ young kids.
