Visible from the parking lot a short walk will get you this closer vantage point.
The Bisti Badlands in New Mexico are a place that seems to be out of this world. Stunning landscapes and stone formations everywhere. Only problem: It is in the middle of nowhere and you have to hike quite a little bit. There are no marked trails though. A GPS device is highly recommended. #GreatOutdoors
This strange formation is known as the King of Wings. Its location has been a well kept secret for a long time and is still hard to find. I want to keep it that way and will not provide the GPS coordinates of this gem. It is located somewhere in the Ah Shi Sle Pah. Great glamping tent. Clean and furnished well. No TV, but hey, it's glamping. A little drafty but still very comfy. The lady I dealt with there was the nicest ever. Would do it again.
