“We know Horning and have a boat there. We didn't know this property, and found it extremely well situated, and comfortable, with very good river views (including of our boat across the river!). Everything was in good condition, comfortable and with a well-equipped kitchen. We had very good communication with the owner. .”

“Literally 2 minutes from the beach. While other people are struggling to park and can face a long walk to Norfolk's great beaches this property is a 2 minute walk to a long sandy beach. Our dogs loved it. The property is in good condition with a fantastic hot tub.. Sleeps 4 or six with a sofa bed. Lovely large kitchen/dining area and a wood fire (and central heating) for cold nights (we had hot weather so didn't need heating). Also has an enclosed garden so ideal for pets. Definitely going back……

“It was my 70th birthday on the 8th August. I thought it would be lovely to celebrate it with my family. 14 of us went -myself, husband, my 3 children and partners and my 6 grandchildren. There was plenty of space for us all. The house and garden were ideal. We all had a wonderful 3 days.”

“Very spacious, well laid out property. Double beds very comfortable. Plenty of bathrooms and parking for a larger group. Beautiful location on the Broads with great access to shops, pubs and things to do.”

“We booked all of the cottages they were beautiful, very clean and amazing. The gardens were very secure so the small grandchildren where very safe which gave us peace of mind. The games room was good for all especially the Big Kids !! We will be going back and would recommend Fielding Cottages and the Goat Shed to all. Shop and cafe were also amazing”

“Everything was great - apart from kitchen facilities which were sparse. Comfortable seating... great beds... excellent shower... good tv reception etc. BUT oven shelving needs attention and couldn't get 2 of the gas rings to work. So it's a great place to stay for the city - just don't plan to do much cooking!”

“The cottage was lovely. It had everything you needed. The beach just 2 minutes down the road was brilliant. I took my dogs and they loved it. The people of Bacton were very friendly too”

“A few days by the sea was just what we needed and this place was perfect. Loved the amazing view and being so close to a beautiful beach. Just missed a couple basics in the kitchen eg a measuring jug and wooden spoon.”

“Seymour cottage was so much nicer than we thought it would be. Super cozy and warm. It was perfect for our 4 night break seeing family at Christmas. Very clean. Very well equipped. Just right.”

“We were a little disappointed as we weren’t overlooking river which we obviously misread. The beds were excellent and we enjoyed the quietness of the place. Our dog loved the garden. Nick the owner is brilliant and dealt with a shower problem promptly and was available to ask questions. Would definitely recommend”

“We enjoyed an excellent 1 night stay in a spacious Manor room with 4 poster bed, with a lovely view overlooking the terrace and golf course. Hotel is clean and comfortable, and staff are welcoming, friendly and helpful. Thank you also for the 'Happy birthday' message and chocolate treats in the room. There is plenty of choice at the breakfast buffet, and the food is really good. The only slight niggle is that the hot food was not piping hot. The terrace is a lovely place for a drink, and there……
