「It was an awkward stay we booked two nights and cards deactivated after first night. Then got a new card got back room to chill for a bit then the front desk lady just opens the door for unknown reasons. The lobby is pretty for decor and pictures.」

「This newer facility is comfy, even if it's full. The free parking and wifi are great, breakfast has hot and cold options, desk people are friendly/helpful. Downtown Des Moines has mostly app-pay parking; during April multi-tornados, all was well-safe. Bike paths everywhere, walking paths nearby, East Village is charming, Science Center/ballpark walkable. Neighborhood is newer with lots of younger denizens.」
