Nosara stay

We loved the location and the instructions were great. The house is dated which is ok but it needs to be cleaned. Exterminated before guests arrive would be a plus.

Perfect location

This was our second time staying at Casa Roth. We really enjoy the prime location and how close it is from the north beach. There is still construction noise going on 7/7 but the house is super calm at night time.

Great for college students

The house is right in heart of Guinones so if you are looking for that kind of location, this is the place. The house, however, is very run down, furniture shabby, buggy, the main shower doesn’t work and the living area and kitchen has no AC. The owner responded to our concerns and we appreciate that. I imagine this is the perfect place for a spring break group.

Great location, kind and attentive host

Everything was great. Especially our host Paulina. We had an all day power and water outage, which is typical of the area, if the place doesn't have a generator. Also, they advertise a washer on site, but it's actually a free laundry service. With the open air concept, things do have a tendency to get dusty, but you just go with it. The amenities were excellent, the beds were comfy, the location is incredible and the price was great compared to others in the area.

Surfing is close

The property is about as close to surfing as you can get in Nosara, that’s why I chose it. It’s a large 2 bedroom with a patio in front, we never used it as it was the wet season and the area not just the property is overrun with mosquitoes and other biting bugs. Make sure you bring strong bug spray!! Great restaurants are all around and you don’t need a car. Save the money on a rental and use the Tuk Tuks that are available. This is my third trip to Nosara,I love it here and I will return.

Each bedroom had a ensuite, bedrooms set up with A/C, common areas set up as fresh air space. The place has everything you need in a great location. Proximity to the beach and restaurants was great. We caught a sailfish, learned to surf, boated with humpback whales and bottlenose dolphins, snorkelled, and experienced some of the best dining on earth. Was good coming back to a safe place at the end of the days.

The location was great and the layout is good too. The living room and porch furniture needs improvement. The existing living room furniture is very uncomfortable and the porch could use a few chairs, maybe adirondack chairs or lounge chairs.

Simple with Great Location

We would definitely stay here again. Three minutes to beach (I timed it). Lively neighborhood. Construction and business noise was never an issue. Could use a little facelift, but that’s not important to us.

Great property in heart of norte (amazing location for Playa Guiones and short hike to Playa Pelada)

Only negatives to note were WiFi router is dying and should be replaced (had to power cycle every 5-30 minutes) and the jacuzzi motor is broken/toast and would need to be replaced. Amazing location and great property. Screened in porch and parking spot are wonderful. Huge open kitchen/living. I have stayed in dozens of places in CR and this is in the top few - surf access to the beach, restaurants nearby including pool if a customer of Norte prior known as caya sol, all wonderful and ideal for the area IMO. Hope to return again!

Great location right in the heart of Guiones; easy walk to the beach or restaurants. Construction nearby and it can get noisy but that's a lot of areas of town so nothing out of the ordinary. Spacious bedrooms and living room and was one of the cleaner places I've stayed in town. Could use better lighting in the living room and kitchen as it is quite dark and not bright enough to read. Overall great place

House was okay, but nothing special, especially for the price. Definitely dated. House is located in a very busy area, and it was loud late at night and early in the morning. I also had problems with other renters on the property parking in the driveway. The best part of the rental was the property manager (Rent Nosara) who was super responsive and helpful.

Nice place in the centre of town.

We really enjoyed our stay. I was worried about the noise since it is the centre of town, but the music etc stopped quite early. Very convenient to shops and beach.
