Chiusa del Prete 1867 – A rural retreat between history, nature, and relaxation Nestled in the Sicilian countryside between Noto and Palazzolo Acreide, Chiusa del Prete 1867 is a historic fortified farmhouse surrounded by 14 hectares of land, with direct access to nature trails winding through the adjacent forest. This authentic place blends style and rural tradition, offering an immersive experience in a peaceful and revitalizing environment. The property consists of three independent units, not interconnecting, each with a private entrance from the outside, designed for families, couples, or groups of friends: • Family suite: a spacious apartment for four guests, featuring a fully equipped kitchen, living area, and private bathroom. • Two double rooms: each with its own private bathroom, ideal for couples. All units are thoughtfully furnished, combining vintage touches with rustic-style décor, in full respect of the historical identity of the place. Special care was taken in restoring an old stone hayloft, now transformed into one of the most charming spaces on the property, where original architectural elements – such as the ancient stone scifi (once used as animal troughs) – have been preserved and creatively repurposed for modern use. Guests also have access to a shared breakfast room with a fully equipped kitchen, where they can prepare their own meals in a warm and convivial atmosphere. Chiusa del Prete 1867 is more than just a place to stay – it’s a genuine Sicilian countryside experience, where the silence of nature, the charm of ancient stone, and the comfort of private, well-designed spaces come together in perfect harmony.
