「Amazing view of the ocean and beach from the room. Staff was very healthful even when the AC unit had to be replaced, which was somewhat of an inconvenience. However, the atmosphere, beach views and access, the amazing food, and the helpful staff made up for any issues. I wish that they had a system to charge amenities and food to the room to pay all at the end of the stay, but overall loved my stay.」

「We liked breakfast and cleanliness- ladies who were serving breakfast were so nice to us... the only downside is noise, some young fellas rented the next house and blasted music all night and the manager wasn't able to stop them- with kids i would not recommend this place or if you like your peaceful quiet night.」

「We really liked this hotel. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was delicious. The location was nice and quiet, not far from public and private beaches (Nyali and Mombasa beaches.) Shopping was nearby. 」

「Front office staff was amazing! However, upon check in they tried to give me a room with a garden view instead of sea view room I had paid for. Had to ask for it to be sorted. Room was dusty, with cobwebs. On the last day there was no running water. Do not disturb sign on my front door was disregarded had maintenance knocked on my door at 6am. Awful experience!」

「Stay away from this property - it seems to be a scam! Despite a confirmed booking by Expedia, upon arrival at Lux Suites the Palm around 8h30pm in the evening, I was told that there was no room available. There was no manager on-site, but the security guard called someone who told him to send us away. The person on the phone said they had been fully booked since the day before and that I had to take up any issue with Expedia. We were unceremoniously sent away late in the evening in an area of...

「There are no elevators so you walk up the stairs with your luggage. There is no shower head, only a handheld shower with the thinnest of water to shower with. Breakfast was…. very regular at 1-star level. It’s not worth the cost! 」

「As expected given the price this is far from an upmarket area. The rooms were small but clean. Initially I was given a not very nice room with an ensuite that was more like an alcove with no shower but was fortunately moved to a better one. We had to navigate building works to get into the property and then walk on a raised wooden walkway. The place was clean and the staff pleasant and helpful」
