Just ok
The place was not nearly as nice as the bright photos made it out to be. We didn’t have heat the entire time and when we called to have it fixed, we were told no one could help us because it was a weekend. Lots of little spiders and webs everywhere. Location was about 20 minutes walking from the main part of Oak Bluffs and there’s not really a sidewalk for the first while, so felt pretty unsafe for the strollers with the babies. The price we paid just doesn’t match up to the flaws of the spot.

No Hot Water
The property would have been fine but there was no hot water. We had to be moved and it was discouraging that VRBO subbed out our contract to a company called Vacasa. Vacasa sent us alternate units that were not on island (a ferry is required to get to the island and it was past the time we could get one). On second day they found another nearby unit, but we had to sacrifice considerable space. While there was hot water, the outdoor shower was not operational. Vacasa's relocation unit did what they could, but the reimbursement unit has not done enough yet.
