“Room was nonsmoking but smelled like someone had been smoking in it nonstop for weeks! No other solution from staff. My son’s asthma was horrible after one night. The water was also brown in the shower. ”

“I understand not all rooms will have a beach view. I didn't notice or possibly overlooked a way to specify "beach view" or not when placing the reservation. We had a view to the east, of the neighboring hotel. The hallway on the 6th floor was always way chillier than necessary for this time of year. The elevator(s) are excruciatingly slow. Exiting the parking area can be a challenge. Making a right turn to the east, then planning a U-Turn, would be the safest way to go west from here. Charging……

“Could smell smoke from neighbors when they went outside to smoke because there was a large gap in the hotel rooms doorway. Check-in is at three, but on the weekends they are closed by 3 o’clock. They have a box outside that allows you to retrieve your key after the office closes. However, They have a pool you can’t use unless you contact the office for a code You don’t know this until you check in after three when the office is already closed. Not sure why they don’t just put the code in with……

“Love the location , we always try to stay at the Royal Palms , so close to the pier . Love the view from balcony. The water was perfect and clear this trip . The pool, hot tub and grill area was nice to use and well maintained. My husband loves the outside swing . I have attached some photos from our balcony and some pics of the pretty water , we was there Labor Day weekend 2025. ”

“I visited Orange Beach for the first time for my birthday. Everything was easily accessible and the hotel was right on the beach. Checking in went smoothly and the staff are very friendly! Only bad thing was that the parking is actually $15 per night and not $10 a night. When I entered my hotel room, it was super cleaned and had sweet treats. I booked the balcony and I had a great view of the beach. If you plan on visiting here for your birthday, don’t forget to mention it to the staff. They……

“Room had a musty smell. Tv was on when we entered room. Found out why cause the volume button did not work so you couldn't turn tv down. Decided to unplug it for awhile but when we tried to turn it back on no luck. Was without tv for the rest of stay. When we unplug tv microwave and other things cut off. There was a power strip behind cabinet that the tv was above that several things were plugged into to and it kinda smelled hot. There were 2 or 3 outlets that did not work so i guess that……
