「Great room and perfect location just a bit weird having my own shower and toilet down the corridor」

「Primarily chosen as it was near to an event we were attending at the Nene Valley Railway (a short drive from the pub). We liked that the accommodation was in a separate building to the pub (although the pub was not loud). Good breakfast, evening meals, and friendly staff. We have a lovely walk around the village one evening, went back following day to try the local tea rooms but they closed early which was a shame. Will definitely stay here again」

「Hash browns were a little over done.」

「Everything about this place is fantastic」

Room was clean but bathroom was up some steps which was a bit tricky in the middle of the night. Rooms were quiet. Had a good sleep.」

(Nice towels). We dined there once and breakfasted three times. Food was good. Service was very professional and friendly. The bar was well stocked and lively whilst we were there. Only criticism was the hotel seemed very warm especially in the room. I had a fan and could open the window etc but it did not...

「Very friendly staff. Lovely situation, overlooking river.」

「I am normally pretty candid on reviewing cheap hotels, as I dont expect much for the price I pay. The room is fine, but there was a macerator coming on and off during the entire night that kept waking me up. Unbearable...」
