Yosemite Creekside Cottage Oakhurst - Bass Lake Pets OK

We are located 3 miles from Oakhurst, 11 miles from the south gate of Yosemite National Park, and 4 miles from popular Bass Lake. Perfect for those wanting to escape the hustle and bustle of the city or just a stopover on the way to Yosemite.

Located on Lewis Creek at 3000' elevation offers cool summers and mild winters. Listen to the sound of the water from the year-around creek running through the rear of the property or enjoy sipping your evening wine watching the tranquil water flowing downstream. The quiet neighborhood has a private park just 1/2 block away with a waterfall and swimming hole great for children, either 2 or 4-legged, where they can safely experience nature. The accommodations are perfect for two. There is a large bathroom with a claw foot tub, a fully equipped kitchen, and a private patio with a BBQ. There are several restaurants in Oakhurst as well as dining at Bass Lake. You'll have complete access to Lewis Creek to enjoy during your leisure time. The house below is also a BnB. The two houses are completely separate from one another sharing nothing except the entrance to the driveway.

Cottage was beautiful, with everything we needed. Bed was very comfortable! A great place to stay while we explored Yosemite and Sequoia National Parks. Felt like we were out in the forest, yet only a few minutes from the town of Oakhurst. Would definitely stay again if we return to the area!

Perfect home away from home

We wanted something out of the city/town yet close enough to all of the area attractions and this was the perfect spot with all of the amenities that you might need. The creek beside the cabin was an amazingly, awesome and beautiful plus. We highly recommend this cabin for your vacation getaway!

Such a great stay. The hosts thought of everything to make our stay feel like we were welcome. Upon arrival we had lit candles, spa music, ambiance fireplace, fresh flowers, fresh cookies and a welcome note! Everything was as advertised and we will definitely come to stay again when visiting nearby Yosemite.

Simply delightful!

We absolutely loved this darling cottage. It was perfect for the two of us. Host does an amazing job getting everything ready. We were greeted with flowers and delicious homemade cookies. We had to change the number of nights we visited and Katy and Luana were wonderful to deal with. Itā€™s a gorgeous ride to Yosemite Valley from here but is a distance so be aware when planning.

Great Stay

Location was very quiet and comfy. Inside was very clean and organized and it made you feel at home. Down the hill is a creek that was very fun to adventure and you can relax in it as well if you want. Overall, this is a location ill stay at again.

Beautiful and great location

The property had access to Lewis Creek which was fabulous, close to Yosemite park entrance. Entrance was close to Mariposa Grove, although Yosemite Falls was about an hour away, the drive through the park was amazing though so no complaints there. Will definitely stay there again.

Perfect little cottage

We had an amazing time at our stay. It was a perfect little cabin/cottage for 2 people. We specially loved the river out back and the sweet lady that met one of the days that happen to be the co-owner i think. She was very hospitable and even welcomed us with a plate of homemade cookies and ccandy. Thank you so much for a wondsrful experience on our first time to yosemite.

Great location

The cabin was perfectly located for our trip to Bass Lake. Just a few minutes from the lake, Oakhurst and Yosemite in a quiet neighborhood with a private swimming hole. The owner and property manager were easy to reach and very responsive.

Beautiful cottage

Comfortable and wonderful stay in the woods. The home is warm and inviting. I wish we couldā€™ve stated longer and plan to return. Highly recommend this beautiful log cottage to anyone needing sanctuary.

A lovely, charming little log cabin bungalow situated on a hill in a beautiful, quiet riverside community. I canā€™t say enough about how much I enjoyed my stay - just a perfect place relax and recuperate after a long day of hiking in Yosemite. Of the many places I have stayed over the years on my hiking trips to the area this was by far my favorite. I will be backā€¦.

Fresh Mountain Air

Enjoyed stay, very close drive to the Giant Sequoia Trees and many trails to hike. Enjoyed the Anna hummingbirds coming up to the glass window in the kitchen in the morning for breakfast and at night for dinner. Also, incredible weather and beautiful stars to glaze up to over the Sierra rim.

Perfect for two

Beautiful, cozy cabin for two. Like going home after a day of hiking at yosimite or fishing at bass lake. Love the hummingbirds and lewis creek in the backyard.

Along the river of peace and serenityā€¦

My daughter and I enjoyed our stay in this wonderful little cottage! We felt safe and the sound of the river was such a bonus! Thank you for allowing pets too! Our Aussie loved hanging out and watching the plump, gray squirrels! ;) We also enjoyed the drive from your location to Yosemite! Absolutely stunning views! We hope to stay again in the near future!
