Great Weekend Stay

Overall, Jamaican Sun 501 was a great place to stay for the weekend (or longer if time would have allowed). Steps from the beach in a very nice neighborhood with quite a few amenities & a great use of space.

Great place right on the beach

This was a really great place to stay. The place was clean and comfortable. We were within walking distance to anything that we needed. Just steps to the beach with amazing views from the condo. I would highly recommend and would definitely go back.

Amazing

Terrific beach getaway

Lovely condo with a great beach view. Perfect location...close to decent restaurants, but far enough from the ickiness of the boardwalk. Highly recommend.

Who Needs the Beach!

I've been renting in DelMarVa for years and this was the best place yet. It was clean; the agency was very communicative and informative and the views from the balcony made rainy days during our stay a delight! Can't wait to rent it again.

Amazing view

Perfect spot to enjoy the beach! The photos don’t do the view justice, absolutely gorgeous. Unit isn’t super updated or fancy inside but worked fine for us and you can’t beat the location. Check-in process was super easy and convenient. Location was quiet and felt safe.

The best thing about this place is the ocean is surrounding you from bedrooms to living room to dining room. It almost feels like you are part of the beach and the ocean. Well kept and updated for most of the place. An excellent experience will go back again. Could use eventually a little kitchen renovation with countertops

Perfect place for family

The property is perfect. The kitchen is dated and paper towel holders were coming off of the wall in each bathroom. Nothing to complain about though. The unit has everything a family needs for an enjoyable stay. very comfortable and perfect views. We are rebooking NOW! Loved it.

Best Vacation!

Upon arrival the house was cleaned very well the view was out of this world! You not only got to see the view from the balcony but every window in the condo. The location was amazing walking distance from amazing restaurants and places to take the children. The rooms were spacious and offered a very comfortable stay! Being able to wake up to the ocean waves from the master was exactly what a vacation needs. The condo supplied us with all the necessities needed for a stay. Everyone that owned or rented other condos in the building were so friendly and helpful and it was so quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed our stay very much and would highly recommend it to everyone and definitely will be back next year!

Great location

We were in town for the Oceans Calling music festival, however I have been coming to the Jamaican Sun since I was a child. The location is great, lots of stuff within walking distance but quieter than being closer to the boardwalk which I prefer. Easy to catch the bus to anywhere along the beach. 501 is a great unit with a beautiful view of the ocean that can't be beat. The unit was clean and very easy to access. I hope to continue my family's tradition of going to Ocean City and I will continue to choose staying here as long as it's available.

Beautiful view right on the beach

The rooms were very nice and updated. couches and beds were comfortable. the only issue that needs attention is the kitchen cabinet doors were loose on the hinges. We really enjoyed our stay. The view was incredible and so relaxing with great access to the beach. the blinds were somewhat difficult to open and close by the kitchen and the master bedroom. All these issues were minor and I would highly recommend this condo. We were there late April so it was quiet and relaxing with minimal traffic and no waits at any restaurants.

Ok Experience

Pros: Beautiful beach view from the space. Easy under-building parking and access to the elevator. Cons: The space carried a strong cigarette odor upon initial entry. Vacasa explained that the odor is coming from an adjoining space. We were able to air the space out after a day or two and didn’t notice it at the end of our stay.

Lovely view!

Great space. Unfortunately, there was a strong smell of cigarettes upon entry. Funny story: on the morning of our first day-two men on a lift showed up in the picture window overlooking the water in the living space(5th floor). They put up plastic and blocked the view. Vacasa did magic after I called and the plastic was removed. I felt bad the men were not able to finish. However, I wanted to enjoy the magnificent view which was the reason for the booking. Other then the slight hiccup, the space is sunny and cute. The balcony was delightful as well. I hope to return during the summer to enjoy the water as the trip was in February.

We have enjoyed this condo for 4 years in a row and have already booked our stay for next year. The view is amazing! We even enjoyed our front row seat to the fury of Tropical Storm Ophelia! The view allows for overlooking minor issues, but there are improvements we would love to see. A priority would be replacing the couch. It is badly stained, and the springs are shot making it quite uncomfortable. On the surface, the condo was clean but would benefit from a deep clean. The kitchen could use an overall update, and better quality of flatware and cookware would be nice. We always enjoy our stay here but would love to see some of these improvements when we return next year.
