I love the Pyramid having numerous stays there over the years. However, I was very disappointed in the internet service which we all come to rely on quite heavily. The overall experience with 5C was good. Would I stay there again…probably not.

Cleaning prior to arrival was horrible. Carpet outside master bath was completely soaked. Used washcloth was left in shower stall. Balcony glass doors were greasy. Only couch was sunken. Master bed was sunken, too. Very uncomfortable

Good place, bad with toddlers

The condo was nice. They set the temperature to cold which was nice so we didn’t have to mess with it. We had 2 toddlers that came with us and the complex was not kid friendly. The rail on balcony didn’t seem safe and the complex it’s self was not wagon/stroller friendly. We had a lot of trouble trying to get out to the beach because there were no ramps. I recommend this condo to someone who doesn’t have little ones as it would be a lot easier.

Everything in this unit was great except for one thing. Wifi only worked in the bedrooms and not in the living room. So unfortunately I had to do my work on my laptop in the bedroom. Other than having issues with the wifi everything else was great!

Very disappointed

I really wanted to love it because of its redeeming qualities, but there are many issues that need addressing. Pros: The view! Because of the design of the building, it is very private too. The heated pool. (Although it would be nice if the hours were extended morning and night. But I understand it's probably to reduce noise.) Easy access to the beach. Most of the lobby workers were nice and welcoming. The decorating choices are nice in the unit. Problems: The wifi rarely worked. Even with rebooting. I reported this to Vacasa in the building and nothing was done about it. Strangely, many light bulbs were out. We changed two ourselves, a Vacasa in-building worker replaced one, and then they wouldn't replace the kitchen light (Which meant no food prep or washing dishes at night.) Because of this and the fact that there were faulty outlets, I wonder if it's an electrical problem. The guest bathroom needs updating, and not just for design reasons. It's dingy. The dryer causes the bathroom to get very hot. There is no fan to use when showering. Right outside of the master bath there was a wide wet, saturated spot in the carpet that couldn't be explained. Upon reporting this to Vacasa in-building, they explained that happens in the building when the unit above has their air on colders than yours. Then it leaks from the vent above onto the carpet. The unit looked very clean upon arrival, but did not smell clean. The guest room smelled like urine and the spare bath smelled like someone's perfume. The two guest beds both have broken frames. One noticeably sits at a downward angle. Not sturdy and uncomfortable. The guest room does not cool down like the rest of the unit. Aside from the guest bath, it's the warmest spot in the house. The standing fan in the room was broken upon arrival, but we retrieved a different one from Vacasa-in building. Bed linens and towels are incredibly basic quality. Best to bring your own towels especially. Very small and not soft. The everyday kitchen items, dishes and glasses/mugs, are out of reach for most people. I am very tall and had to stretch to the cabinet to reach them. (The kitchen counters and main bathroom counter are also best for tall people. The rest of the bathrooms' features are better for shorter people.) There is no handicap accessibility to the pool area. There are about 10 steps and no ramp or lift. This was very disappointing as some of our party could not use the pool then.

Girl's beach trip

Good location for family with small kids - quiet and beach was not very crowded. Pool was very clean and accessible. Staff was friendly and helpful. Condo was comfortable and kitchen had everything we needed.

Great location, great condo!

We love The Pyramid! This condo was very clean, had everything we needed, and had linens included. The building and outdoor pool was very well taken care of. Very clean!

Great Location and Views-Although a bit Quirky

I would rent again based on the balcony and view as well as the brilliance of placing a 4 person high top on the balcony so you can see perfectly unobstructed. The space was great for 4 people with two good sized bedrooms, 2 full baths and a comfortable living room with a sectional and open kitchen with barstools so plenty of space to sit and socialize. The property is dated with low quality bathroom cabinets/fixtures. The VACASA folks texted me as soon as we checked in asking us to rate the cleanliness. We rated it a 3 and they asked for pics which we sent. Pics of mold in the master bath, a long black hair on the bathroom ceiling and a hair on the tub ledge in the other bathroom. The responded that they reported it to local management who would “respond swiftly”… well no one ever came and recleaned the bathrooms during our stay. :(. The rest of the property seemed clean. Other quirky things are… one bathroom’s cabinets are super high like up to my chest and the other bathrooms cabinets were too low. The kitchen cabinets with plates and glasses was so tall, I had to stretch up and reach with my fingertips to get a glass. However they do provide a step stool. Not a huge deal but just weird heights on the cabinetry. Bedrooms don’t cool well but they had nice oscillating stand fans in both bedrooms so we were fine. Beds were comfortable. Opening the door lock with the code was temperamental and took a few tries each time. Besides these small annoyances, like I said, location was great, layout worked well for 4 of us, and balcony was terrific.
