“What a wonderful staff. So pleasant and thoughtful. The pool was new during my stay; I was not able to use it. It looks as if it is about to open. It also has several other wonderful outdoor game areas for families to enjoy. My room was wonderful, with plenty os space for both of us to store and organize our belongings and keep the room in good shape to enjoy. Comfortable bed and pillows too, and everything we needed. The view was beautiful.”

“So many postiives to write here. 1-the location is superb. One block from the water and a couple of blocks walk to some of the best restaurants in town. The Oyster bar was so good we visited twice. 2- The B and B is perfect. A very warm host who instantly made you feel at home. There is a happy hour with draft beer every day! 3- The room is perfectly spacious, immaculately clean 4- Whatever you need, the host will provide. I wouldnt recommend this place for families, but for couples its……

“I expected a little better view of the water since it was so close to the river. We appreciated the Keurig coffee maker with pods since we weren't planning to buy food supplies. They gave very good suggestions about places to eat. The room was very nice with a comfortable bed. We would stay there again.”

“This property is in a great location. And the staff is extremely kind and very nice and helpful. I did feel for the amount of money that we spent. The room could have been cleaner and a little bit more upgraded for upwards of $400 a night. The pool area is not as large as appears to be online, and because the tiki bar at the pool area and the fire pit have public access and if you are in a beachfront room you will hear what is going on out on the boardwalk, as well as the tiki bar and fire pit……

“Enjoyed the staff and property. Close to Southport and the coast yet close to local restaurants not just “resort” priced restaurants. Breakfast was ok but not many fruit offerings and items weren’t always refilled in a timely manner.”

“Staff were delightful Very clean/comfortable Amenities more than sufficient Quiet Very walkable to beach AND bar/restaurant 1st trip to this town, when we return, will stay here. Definitely economical and worth much more than the price!”

“We had a great stay. The staff were super helpful and the room was clean and the pool as well.”

“The hotel was nice, but not up to the expected standards. There was only one elevator working, the breakfast was fair, the pillows were miniature, and the A/C was noisy. Theses are minor, I know, but somewhat agravating. The guest, (which was not your fault, were slaming doors until 2AM.”

“The room my wife and I stayed in was very spacious and yet I don’t think it was for handicap although walkers and wheelchairs could fit in the room nicely. Everyone in the staff we interacted with were very friendly and helpful. Our stay was quite comfortable.”
