“Adorable beach motel! This was the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept in. Cute and trendy decor, the pool area is beautiful, and the staff is lovely. We will be back.”

“Wonderful hotel and location!”

“No complaints staff was great. Room was clean and comfortable. Would stay there again”

“Good!”

“We've been coming to Southport to visit family for 20 years and the Carriage House has always intrigued us but we've never stayed until now. It was absolutely wonderful. Amy was very friendly and knowledgeable and the facilities were amazing. I travel a lot and spend 30-45 days a year in hotels and this was one of my best experiences. I just wished we had more time to just stay at the Carriage House and enjoy it more, but we spent most of our time visiting family.”

“We had a great stay! Room was very nice & clean; beachy modern aesthetic. Super close to the beach and some of the restaurants. Staff were super friendly.”

“Front desk very helpful.”

“Overall a good stay . Everything is in walking distance”

“No stove and small mini fridge with all that space other than that the expert was delightful! The enjoyment of the nice greenery and watching the golfers”

“We live local to the area, but love our mini staycations at Carolina Beach Inn. It has quickly become one of our favorite places to stay for a weekend getaway. Walkable to all of the CB hot spots including the beach and so many food choices. Highly recommend!”

“One night stay was great! Easy check-in. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. I'll stay here again on my next visit to Southport.”

“This is our second time staying at Dry Dock Inn and we were very happy with our choice. The hotel is a short walk from the boardwalk and local shops. There is also a Lake park nearby. They have 2 outdoor pools and a small game room. The front desk staff let us check in when we arrived since our room was ready. They also allow late checkout for a reasonable fee. We will be back to Dry Dock Inn for our next trip to Carolina Beach.”

“This stay is right on the beach! The beds were comfy and we had plenty of towels between the 3 of us. I gave this 4-stars due to the strong smell of wet dog that lingered throughout our stay. I would love to see an upgraded coffee pot/Keurig in the room. Other than that, I would stay again!”

“MOLD. We are a family of 4 with one small child and a baby. When we were getting ready for bed, we discovered a large amount of mold on the ceiling. We notified the host who offered other accommodations that would require us to be split into different rooms. We opted for a refund and took the long journey home that same night. That was 2 months ago and still no refund. Location is good though”

“The breakfast was lacking, but the overall stay was good.”
