“A wonderful stay right on the beautiful Muskegon River with plenty of wildlife to view … bald eagles, herons, deer, jumping trout and fishermen!”

“Great place, clean, well cared forGood communicationsOnly issue was not knowing about quantity and type of stairs to get to cottage, work okay for us, but friends couldn’t visitWould stay again”

“We saved a ton of money, because we didn't have to eat out all the time. The cottagewas large enough to accommodate our family of nine. Plenty of parking for the vehicles and toys. Silver Lake has so many things to offer. We drove Jet Skis over to the dunes and had a lot of fun playing in the sand and water. If the weather wasn't cooperating, just around the corner is Craig's or went for a dune ride. The grandkids had a good time making smores in the fire pit. We'll be back next year, because……

“Our family had a lovely time at the lake house! We would absolutely stay again!”

“Such a great location and perfect little cottage! Great communication from the hosts checking on us even though we never needed anything since they had thought of everything! Will definitely be coming back!”

“Had a great time at a great place! Close to the beach, but still had the “in the woods” feel. Plenty of room for our families.”

“Fun location, especially in summer months. Right next to boat rental business and boat ramp for Hamlin lake. Great location for small family or 2 couples. Did not receive check in or check out instructions from host without inquiring about them and never received response for check out. Had some water damage occur to floors in one of bedrooms due to constant rainy weather. Informed hosts so hopefully gets resolved! Has basic kitchen essentials, towels, and hand soap.Wi-Fi and smart TV also in……

“The house was clean, stocked with all basic essentials, and fairly modern. We enjoyed the backyard with fire pit and grill. The location was perfect! The owner was great in communicating with us and entry was easy and accessible. There was a musty smell upon entry and the owner sent a plumber over to check it out. That was appreciated. The dryer made a horrendous squealing noise and the owner said he was going to replace the belt. The view of the lake was minimal, we didn’t mind that though, as……

“Excellent location - can walk to Stearns Beach and to pickleball courts. The cottage was just the right size for two of us and offered all basic amenities, such as a kitchenette supplied with appliances and ll things needed for food prep. We used AC only two times for about 10 minutes due to the comfortable weather temps and nice breeze. Colorful beach-themed decor was welcoming. Our host communicated before, during, and after our 4-night stay, giving us instructions for the address and……

“Nice to be right on the lake! This cabin is very peaceful. Easy to get to places like Big Rapids and Cadillac as well as other nearby locations”

“Clean and well stocked . Host very responsive . Air conditioning worked well in 90 degree weather . Stairs to Lake Michigan excellent even for those with disability. I would definitely stay here again”

“Cool cottage with a beautiful porch.”

“This is a gem of a property, excellently managed, perfectly cleaned and located in a little slice if heaven on earth!I hesitate to write such a good review, because it might result in unavailability in the future! But excellence deserves reward, especially in a difficult endeavor.Book without hesitation! (And be sure to visit Barnharts- great food and service, right across the street!”

“We had a great time and enjoyed the house and property. Very clean and well equipped. The 7 and 3 year old really enjoyed the playground and video games. Only thing I would change...curtains for all the windows... I'm a little paranoid in seclusion at night. Really a great property.”

“Great location and the property was well stocked!”

“Excellent property! We stayed for graduation weekend for our son’s graduation from Ferris State. Only a quick 30 minute drive to campus, this property was a quiet and relaxing place to celebrate with family and friends. There were plenty of bedrooms for everyone to have their own space, enough bathrooms that no one waited in line and a spacious kitchen for preparing and serving food. We enjoyed the fire pit and grill, as well as the two sitting rooms and the big dining room table and game room……

“The location of this modest property was fantastic, including an incredible view of the lake and the dunes, and a short walk to the base of the official dunes entrance. Due to its proximity, there was a pretty good flow of dune buggies and 4x4 vehicles driving to and from the park, but we did not have a problem with it. Great value!! (Remember to bring your own sheets and towels.)”

“Great location just a short walk to the beach! The cottage was very clean. The host Tina and her husband are absolutely wonderful people! Our stay couldn't have been better!”

“Property just as described online. Host was quick to reply and answer questions. We’ve rented places in the past and things that were stated online (hot tub, waterfront) weren’t accurate when we arrived. This property was perfect. We were able to dock our boat for the stay, and there was plenty of parking for our 4 trucks and boat trailer. Having 10 people I thought we would be cramped, but with the studio apartment, bunkhouse and main house, we had plenty of room. Yard between main house and……
