"We enjoyed our stay, shops and restaurants were within walking distance. We were able to bring our dog. They have a nice grassy area on the side of the hotel where your dog can do their business along with poop bags available to use. We were on the 4th floor balcony which had an awesome view of the marina and the Ocracoke lighthouse in the distance."

"We loved our visit to Ocracoke Island! It is a unique off the beaten path coastal destination. I guess the ferry ride sorts out casual flyby folks. Russel and Ellen's place was perfect for two couples. It has everything you need. The location is excellent. You could walk most places, if need be. The hosts were friendly, super knowledgeable and responsive. The beach closest to town was gorgeous. Lots of great restaurants for such a small town. Thank you for taking such great care of us!"
"We 6 "mature" ladies couldn't have picked a better place to stay for our Ocracoke getaway!! First of all, our hosts were so helpful in every way and accommodating when we "begged" to stay a second night! Communication with them was excellent. Wish we could've stayed all week! Everything was just perfect about this gorgeous vacation home. The outdoor shower...Heavenly!!! Comfortable beds and pillows!! Very clean, neat and orderly! A well-stocked kitchen!! The perfect location as far as being near the ferry, yet so close to many awesome restaurants and places to explore with our super cool golf cart. The screened in sunroom was a great place to have cocktails and play games late afternoon. The furniture was pretty and very comfortable. I'm sure the TV was nice, but we never turned it on lol. 2 awesome hammocks. Lots of games and puzzles. Such a happy place to spend our time together. We are already plotting our next visit to this beautiful and peaceful home. Many, many thanks for helping us make heartwarming forever memories with the best of friends!!:)"

"Thought the property was a little overpriced for the amenities and size. Had an issue with wi- fi but owner was very reasonable in giving a partial refund. Rented mainly for location. Property was in walking distance of most restaurants"
