"We spent 4 nights at the chateau Bedford and have only good things to say about our stay. The front desk staff was very pleasant and helpful, we had a minor issue in our room and maintenance was able to rectify it by the time we came back in the evening. Everything was clean, and the breakfast buffet was by far the best we have ever experienced in a Canadian hotel! The selection was impressive and unexpected. The serving staff was friendly and efficient and their lattes were a great way to start the day. The nights were quiet with very minimal noise from hallways or the outside. (Our room was facing the front parking. Would stay again in a heartbeat next time we are in Halifax area."

"Wonderful boutique hotel perfectly situated for exploring the Wolfsville area of Nova Scotia. The room was a bit small with very little area to just sit and relax, but that’s a minor quibble. It was a great place to stay."

"We were put in Room One and there was noise above us until after 9 PM and they were moving furniture or something outside our bedroom until after 8 and then we were right beside office. They call the room oceanview but it’s only a sliver if you look sideways. Room has some dandy long legs and flies flying around but couldn’t open window to get them out. Overall not too impressed for the price."

"We were lucky enough to get a room with a gorgeous view of the water. The room, although dated, was very spacious and clean. The staircase leading to the room reminded you of just how old the building is. The hallway carpet was filthy but the room was clean, We would stay there again as long as we were guaranteed a water view."

"The only real problem with this property is the parking lot. Very small spaces and not enough parking. I had to ask for extra pillows, only 2 provided for a king size bed. Full size fridge was nice and the view out the back window was pretty."
