"We started our NZ vacation here after landing in Christchurch and it was the perfect start. The pub served wonderful appetizers and desserts. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the bay--great for settling in and relaxation. The pool was cooler than I hoped. Breakfast is self-serve with limited but thoughtful options. Sharing facilities wasn't a problem, but there weren't many other guests during our stay. Staff was warmly welcoming and very accommodating. "

"Everything about my stay was wonderful. The place was very easy to find and to get into from the clear instructions. There were snacks, drinks in the fridge and hot drinks. The TV had Netflix, Prime and Disney. Plenty of utensils and lots of spares ( batteries etc). All living arrangements comfy - bedroom, bathroom and lounge. Robes available. Hosts, Matt and Bev were in contact if needed. The property is very private. Overall my stay was perfect."

"It's a quiet and peaceful stay, perfect for a short getaway, the room is spotless, also we got everything we needed there. Tim and his little helper, the Rottweiler are so friendly and enthusiastic. Overall is nice, would give them a 10 out of 10!"

"This is a lovely holiday home thank-you, with a lovely view, and nice and quiet. The home is warm and spacious. It was great having the master bedroom on the same floor as the open plan living, dining, kitchen area. We would definitely like to come and stay again sometime. The ferry trip over to Lyttelton for the Saturday market was terrific."
