"Great location and a clean modern accommodation. Just a few things we noticed could've helped with our stay~an iron/ironing board, a cork screw opener (for a bottle of wine), hangers for hanging clothes in the closet, and paper towels for the kitchen or kitchen towel for wiping table/dishes, etc... "Overall, we had a great stay at Rakuten Stay Fuji View Hakone, and would definitely recommend it.” The heated floors, tatami room, comfy bed, well-equipped kitchen, and projector for movies and music made the space feel cozy and thoughtful. The indoor and outdoor hot spring baths were a real highlight. The location is super convenient, close to the bus station, restaurants, and shops, which made everything easy. Check-in was smooth, and the instructions were clear enough that we didn’t need to contact the host. A couple of small things could be improved, though. We did notice some dog hair left behind, so a bit more attention to cleaning would make a big difference. We were also excited about the Mount Fuji view, but the trees blocked most of it from our floor. It would be helpful if the listing set clearer expectations about that. Even so, the stay was comfortable and enjoyable, and next time we come back to Japan, we’d love to stay longer and hopefully enjoy a better view."
