“Decided at the last minute to take the trip. Chose the least expensive spot which was about 1/2 of what the reservation would have been if I had joined the group attending the same event. I also traveled by motorcycle and saved a lot on the trip. (Haven't calculated how much yet). The location is showing it's age a bit, but there are some upgrades. Gone is the carpeting I usually find in motels, replaced with a solid surface. I think if that's going to be the new thing, then they should do a bit……
