"Parking was ok. Staff was ok. Rooms are old, and very very dated. The tub had bad rust stains. I had to go purchase my own cleaning supplies to make sure it was really clean bc residue was so bad from aging. The bed linen smelled like old mop water. "

"The Wydam hotel is old. Frank Fletcher, the franchisee has updated the lobby and rooms. The best treat was the head omelet maker and the breakfast staff. The hot breakfast was a nice treat. The room had no running water due to repairs taking place. The front desk did not tell us. We discovered it after using the bathroom and having no water to wash my hands. We asked for hand sanitizer and the front desk told us we could use the large bottle on the front desk. Just imagine all the guests touching the door knows and elevator buttons with those dirty hands. We were told the water would be back on in a few hours. The next morning we discovered there was no hot water for our showers. The staff was not prepared to address this second issue, telling us the manager would be in at 9. We would have wanted the staff to let us know because we do not want to stay in a potential germ infested hotel. We were given a 25% discount but the stay should have been comped. The hotel should have found us rooms at a nearby hotel. The staff took no responsibility to ensure the rooms were habitable. It seems like this would be a guest safety violation. I would have rated the hotel terrible except I chose poor because the breakfast team worked so hard to improve our experience at the Wydam."

"It was fine for the price, about $80. Desk staff was very friendly and welcoming. Slept too late to take advantage of the breakfast. Very comfortable bed! Cons: Very dated. Weak shower pressure, and every wall in the public areas needs paint touch-up, especially around and inside the elevator. "

"It was only a quick one night stay. Bed was comfortable, room was very clean and the breakfast was acceptable."

"Seemed to be in a safe area. Police station right beside it. Breakfast was ok. Room was clean."

"The room had dirty and old food items under the couches. The bed and pillows were terrible, woke up with bad neck pain. The breakfast was okay, not pet friendly. No grass anywhere, the "pet area" was a small section with large stones that was littered with trash. Staff was very nice and friendly."

"I really hate to complain, but the whole point of getting this house was it had room for all of us to have our own beds. But when we got there, the futon in the living room did not exist and there was a very shallow leather sofa and a "big joe" bean bag in the corner. We loved sitting in the bean bag, but you couldn't sleep on it. So, we had to use an air mattress, and no one likes that. It just wasn't ideal. The house was clean except for the pillows on the couch were covered in dog hair. We are dog people, but it was a bit much. It was a perfect location. All the appliances were nice. We really weren't cooking, but there were a lot of things to choose from. The dryer had a broken door, but we were able to make it work by standing there and holding it. Luckily we were only drying a jacket from the rain. We enjoyed our stay."
