“We ultimately ended up not staying here. It had nothing to do with the staff. The check in was smooth and easy. Yes, I read reviews before booking but after visiting I can’t agree with some of them. It is a very old motel and the outside is really worn. The room we were assigned was pretty worn too. The mattress was broken down and jiggled just by sitting down on it. It just wasn’t for us. I was willing to pay the much higher price at another tried and true chain hotel. The clerk was super busy……

“The updated room was beautiful and clean, however the platform beds were pretty uncomfortable and we had to keep adjusting the slates underneath for support. The property location is stunning with amazing views and overall very quiet, just a quick drive into town. Check-in was a little clunky and the continental breakfast was unpredictable. We showed up to a pretty messy construction site with big trucks blocking parking and the amenities like the hot tub being out of order. Though we received……

“It was nice to be by the river. We enjoyed watching the ships. We enjoyed the river walk and saw the sea lions “ singing”. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the shower had good water pressure and hot water. There were several options for breakfast. A very nice place to stay.”
