My husband and I recently stayed at Russets at the Bloomfield Fruit Farm in Chipping Ongar with our dog and had an exceptional experience. The location is quiet and tranquil, perfect for a peaceful getaway. The accommodation itself was lovely. It was clean, comfortable, nicely decorated and renovated, more spacious than expected, and it had everything we needed. James, the host and owner, was generous and kind, leaving us a thoughtful welcome gift of Prosecco when he learned we were newlyweds.James also noticed we were having car trouble and offered his assistance. He turned out to be a knowledgeable car electronics technician and took time out of his day to help us diagnose the issue, which was incredibly helpful.Additionally, James treated us to a lovely cappuccino, showcasing his skills as an experienced barista, as they were about to open a cafe on the farm. The hospitality was impressive, and I highly recommend staying here.
