「Nice view」

「Great Location on Main Street but way overpriced for a small antiquated room. TV was mounted on a wall that was almost impossible to see and shower did not work. I didn’t have time to ask for help with shower so I just gave up. Check in and staff were great but still doesn’t justify the price of room. You have to somehow wrangle a parking spot on the street which is a problem during most times. This is just another reason why Canadians travel outside of country for better value.」

「Great stay and lovely little corner of the County. Amenities and restaurant on site a great asset. Was a little noisy because we were on ground floor by the restaurant… and upstairs above us very noisy at late night with people walking in shoes and playing piano at various times… but other than that a fabulous place to stay!」

「Great place for couples, 3 doors away from the Avon Theatre. The rooms were modernized, clean and comfortable. The only issue is parking, but there is a public lot about 1/2 a block away, and the "parking police" tend to be lenient.」

「Weather was poor which put a damper on trip, no fault of the resort. Fires could have been started earlier in the day for people who wanted to sit outside. There is no coffee in the rooms which is a huge downfall as they don't serve it until 8-8:30am. Adding coffee to rooms would really add to the experience. 「The Wood View House is a stunningly beautiful B&B. Our hosts we welcoming and helpful; and our bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in. The house is convenient to downtown, and an easy walk to the dock the boat tours leave from. As a bonus there is a very nice intimate restaurant that serves delicious food at dinner.」

「This is an older property with a Lot of potential. The rooms were clean, my bed was comfy and because it was not a hot night the rooms were cool because it has no air conditioning. But my room was only $125.00 a night so a good deal if just passing through. However, you do not get the shampoos etc that you find in higher end hotels either. Not a problem.
