“Staying at the ranch was a great experience for our family. Our granddaughter got to ride a gentle horse and feed the horses carrots. The place is simple but comfortable, and the AC units were able to keep up with the heat. Evenings outside were pleasant (mid-June) and the stars were plentiful. Not a bad drive from LA and on to visit the Mount Whitney area.”

“This cottage is a short walk from the town square. The property has grills and a hot tub. There are areas to hang out both indoors and out. The property is fun to explore. Our infant slept soundly in the bedroom while we played cards outside or sat in the hot tub. The hot tub is within range for our video baby monitor. “We had such a great time during our stay at this property! Our group consisted of three families coming together with kids of multiple ages. Everyone slept comfortably and there were plenty of beds for all! The kids enjoyed running around the grounds. They loved looking at the horses in the morning, playing on the zip line and taking dips in the hot tub in the evenings! This place is perfectly located within the town of Kernville. “First, many thanks to the owner. The place really for the bill. Now for the details. The property was clean, and stocked with some bare necessities (coffee - pods and grounds). The description and images matched what we saw and expected. WiFi works great. The only concern is the steep driveway to the house. The owner thankfully sent advice to turn the cars around at the top. Backing down would have been a little crazy.Thank you so much for the opportunity to stay. I would recommend this……

It is a cheap motel, with dirty sheets, towels, and the night sounds of domestic arguments from 1AM-3AM. You are best off driving the 15 minutes to Ridgecrest and staying in real hotel. In addition to being looking old and run down, I had to go to worse room than I paid for because they lost the guest key to my room. My only option to keep my original room was to……
