Roomy and Great View from Balcony

My family and I had a great vacation at Bluewater. Our unit was roomy and had a great view of the beach. The grandkids loved playing in the ocean and pools. Had to drive a short distance but there were lots of great restaurants in the area.

Summer vacation 2019

My family and I rented Bluewater 1404 for July 6-13, 2019. The condo was great with a gorgeous view. The check in and check out procedures were very easy and convenient. The property manager was nice and communication was good. The staff at Bluewater was nice, friendly and helpful. We had a great time!

Great outside view of the ocean!

Loved everything about the condo except for 1 thing. The living room sliding glass doors have a really bad film on them that makes it impossible to see through. Vacasa actually reimbursed me a days stay for the inconvenience! I thought that was very appropriate of them. Otherwise, everything else about our stay was WONDERFUL!!!

Family Beach trip 2022

I loved how responsive Vacasa was with my needs and the location as far as beach access was super nice. The only issue I had was the room not being as clean as I hoped and the ceiling fan in the master seemed as though it would fall out of the ceiling when I turned it on. But someone came to address my concerns on the cleanliness asap. On-site security had one person on staff that was not very friendly but we enjoyed our stay nonetheless

It was a nice accommodation! We didn't have a coffee pot or bathing clothes for the first 36 hours! The rooms weren't as clean as I would think your standards are ! The dryer didn't dry ! There was enough dinner wear for 8 people and the ceiling fan in the master bedroom is ready to fall down! Not what I expected from Vacasa!

Above average stay

We had a great week but the kitchen could use bigger pans for larger groups and measuring cups and spoons.The ceiling fan in the master bedroom needed replaced and the tv in the master bedroom wouldn't connect to the wifi. I tried to call to report it but hung up after being on hold for a hour.

Fall Break perfect

This was a great condo! It was right on the beach with a nice outdoor and indoor pool. The kitchen did lack some basic items for cooking. Will stay again!!

good size rooms

well appointed condo with good size rooms and large beds. The cleanliness was overall good but some spots missed. Property manager responded and would send someone over but we cleaned it ourselves. There was some major kitchen items missing like measuring cups, which is hard for people flying in, but overall well appointed.

We enjoyed our stay

The home could use some updates, but for the price and location, it cant be beat. Some of the furniture is not in the best condition, but is comfortable. A couple of the dishes were not clean, but we clean all dishes before using them anyway, so this was not a problem for us. It is located right on the beach with direct view of the ocean. The indoor pool is small and there is no outdoor hot tub. The indoor gym is nicely equipped, but you do have to go through the indoor pool so wet shoes could be an issue. I simply brought a towel to dry with prior to using machines. There was no cleaner to use to clean the machines, I wiped down with a towel, and simply washed my hands after usage. The inside door handle in the master bedroom is broken, so you are not able to open the patio door from the inside. There is a full size washer and dryer. The dryer does not dry very quickly. The toilet in the master bedroom does not flush at times and the water pressure in the shower is almost nonexistent, however, this is a common issue in large condos so it may not be the homeowners fault. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will be willing to stay here again if available at our times of need.

Looks exactly as pictured. Check in was a self check in with a code at the door which was nice. Beyond the pictures is a different story though. The dishes were dirty from the plates to the silverware and cooking utensils. We had to wash a whole load of dishes when we first arrived due to this. The main bathrooms shower curtain was absolutely covered in mold but we reached out to someone and they brought a new curtain but we had to change it ourselves which was revolting because it was literally covered* in mold. Not a single one of the bedrooms televisions actually worked or connected to the internet. The living room tv did work perfectly, had a little bit of a slow connection to the internet but it worked. The hot water heater runs out after 10 minutes or less so you better shower fast, especially if more than one person needs a shower at once. The security did do their jobs well and we felt safe while we were here, the pools were all in nice condition and well kept. The condo itself was also clean and a quiet, family friendly place to be. In a nice quiet neighborhood right on the ocean with a balcony view. Very strict no smoking policy though which sucked…. Lol. Overall I’d say 7-8/10.

1404 bluewater

Loved the condo, was very roomy for 6 adults. Balcony was huge, lots of room. The only problem we had was our dryer didn't dry, but did report an they did fix it. Would definitely stay here again.

Vacasa stinks

The issue was not the condo but the property managers. Not super clean when we arrived and no welcome information or the two parking passes there. Had to call and wait on phone forever to even speak to someone. Finally got parking passes the next day after three calls to Vacasa.

Overall it was ok. The condo was nothing special. The beds had lumpy mattresses. The bathroom sinks had no water pressure. We paid a lot of $$ for a very average condo. It worked for us because of its loction (on the beach). A big plus was the balcony size!! Really large and enjoyable.

The room was nasty. Mold on drapery. The washer made loud noises and the dryer had to run 3 x to dry

I would not rent again. Too many violations. Didn’t receive parking passes for 2 days, only 2 passes available. Dryer didn’t work and washer was loud. Mold on drapery. Beds were not comfortable. Cleaning tools did t work to get sand off floors. Do not rent at Bluewater. Very unhappy

Needs a lot of maintenance

The home looked just as it did online. As we entered a ceiling vent fell onto my husband's head, and condo was not clean although I do have standards higher than most. There was a dust pan full of sand, and the floors were definitely not mopped. The balcony couldn't have been swept or mopped. It was just gross. The sliding door also did not latch going to the balcony which was critical that worked since we had children with.. We called vacasa and waited the next day for maintenance till 2pm. That evening we did our first load of laundry, and it took 4 cycles to dry. No biggie until it went out completely which meant we had to call vacasa again and wait for maintenance again this time till 4pm. We were hanging our towels on the balcony to dry, but were told we couldn't. Literally 2 Beach days gone waiting for maintenance out of our 6 day stay. Btw the dryer still doesn't work properly. This is our 3rd year staying in this condo complex. We love the bluewater. We will stay in this complex again this fall just not this unit. Very upset with how it was handled through vacasa as well. $2600.00 for 6 days and 2 were spent waiting on maintenance. Ridiculous

Stay was ok

Location of the property was excellent. Shower for the master had a slow drain. The master toilet ran all the time. The dryer needs to be replaced. It does not dry clothes well at all!!! The WiFi was difficult to connect to. I emailed the app 2x and no one replied. The second day I called and finally got an answer. You have to connect to the open hc WiFi and use their passwords. I will not book this condo again.

Bluewater 1404

We had a terrific stay at Bluewater #1404. We went the first week of May! Everyone in OB was so kind and appreciative of us being there. Everyone was being safe and practicing safe social distancing. We had a wonderful vacation. The condo was great! It could have used a little cleaning, I think we were the first to stay there in awhile. But it was great for the price! There were plenty of amenities in the apartment. The kitchen was well stocked and we did not have to buy any utensils dishes, or cookware. The washer and dryer were a little rusty but got the job done! We were a family of 6 and only had to wash towels a few times in our 5 day stay. There was a key code for the door so we didn't have to have contact with anyone. The beach is just steps away and the views were amazing! Vacasa text the same day we got there and made sure we had everything we needed. Overall very great vacation and property!
