“perfect for what we were looking for. Peaceful countryside getaway.”

“Most unique property you will stay at. Connie and Jim are exceptional hosts . They have their rental stocked with anything you need. We truly enjoyed staying at the chouse.”

“The property was located right on the main street so it made it very easy for shopping and dining. It was a beautiful layout for the unit with two nice bedrooms, very clean and well organized. The owners were very helpful and gracious.”

“It is wonderful to see people preserving our history in these old homes. Beautifully decorated, very clean and well supplied. Walking distance to the marina and shopping which we did. Also brought our bikes and jumped on the bike trail up the block. Did a morning of fishing with Topgun Charters which was fantastic and we did get our limits. Drove over to Cederburg for shopping etc.”

“This place was amazing. We were so happy with the stay.”

“One of the best ones I've ever stayed at! Lots of little things on the property that make it!”

“Very nice place, spacious and modern so the whole family (2 adults, 2 young kids, and a doggo) had a good time staying here, and could've stayed much longer without needing any other amenities provided (if we had more time of course). I appreciated the dog theme in the room, and treats by the elevator. Was surprised the picture framed in the bathroom wasn't of a fire hydrant!Good location for river walks to check out the park, dam, nearby shops and restaurants, and close to Port Washington too.……

“Really great location. Deck needs work Lots of wet rugs and rags on deck. several deck boards are rotting away. Beach is great for long walks. Views and bedrooms are great. Need shades in upstairs bedroom if you plan to sleep past sunrise or have kiddos.Access to beach was a little rough but a road access is available.Lots of lawn/beach chairs and water toys in garage. Appreciated all the supplies for kitchen and bathrooms. And the best double washer/dryer!! Helps with cleaning up beach……

“A few friends and I were in Hartford for a wedding, and there weren’t many options for places to stay, so we were happy to find this VRBO! The house was beautiful, and Michelle was incredibly helpful and accommodating. Even though our stay was short, it was exactly what we needed and made our weekend that much better. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would absolutely book again!”

“Wished we could have stayed longer. The location is beautiful. The house is expansive, and the bed my wife and I used, the loft bed, was comfortable. We even had wild turkeys visible on the property—and of course, deer are common. Thanks for a great stay.”

“We had a wonderful stay! The home is very charming with a mix of rustic and modern. I had hit some bumps with my booking and Dave was there to help through the process and was very attentive with responses during our stay. The house was in a great location plenty of stuff within walking distance. Highly recommend, thanks again Dave!”

“Cute & clean place! The security deposit fee is a little high and unexpected for what the nightly rate is. But overall nice place to stay.”

“This property is truly amazing! Even though it was just my wife and I, this beautifully remodeled home is large enough to accommodate a large group and has a second kitchen in the lower level. The lake views are amazing from the hot tub on the deck, and it had a bon fire area set up as well. The host was very responsive to any questions we had and made the entire process seamless. The kitchen is absolutely incredible and was my favorite feature of the house...plus it was fully stocked……

“We had a great time at this property. The house was clean, spacious, well organized and the lake was beautiful. I am a new wheelchair user and this was my first vacation in two years so I was initially disappointed that there was a step down from the house to the large deck. My brother-in-law ended up driving back home to pick up a portable ramp that I use when I visit his house. That worked really well so if you are a wheelchair use be advised to bring or rent a ramp ahead of time if you want……

“Everything was amazing and if we come back next year we will be staying again”

“Great location. Super clean, beautiful decor, comfortable beds. Would return for sure!”
