Pros: Was conveniently located and plenty of parking. Cons: Could not get the TV's or internet to work. Had the password which neither of us could get to work. My son who lives nearby stopped by and he couldn't get the TV's or wifi to work. Reset the cable box per owners instructions, still nothing worked. The bathtub and bathroom sink didn't drain, while taking a shower or brushing teeth both filled with water and had to stand in bathtub full of water. The sheets and towels were owners old well used everyday sheets and towels, should have newer stuff for guest. I question the cleanliness of everything, the bedroom rug needed to be vacuumed, wouldn't step on bathroom rug, wore our sandals whole time inside. There were gnats flying around kitchen and kitchen sink. We couldn't get comfortable staying there and stayed the 2nd night at my sons.

Phenomenal location. Cleanliness could be better.
Great proximity to Downtown Orlando, bars, and restaurants. Host was great with communication. Pretty affordable stay, but the apartment wasn’t that clean. Because the host lives in the apartment, cleanliness should be a much bigger priority than it appears to be. I didn’t make it a big deal during my stay because I tend to do a thorough cleaning myself when I arrive to any rental property, but if I had not done that, the stay would’ve been a lot less comfortable. Overall, it’s a great stay if you’re on a budget or need a convenient location. I would just suggest bringing a few Lysol wipes if you plan to stay. (And perhaps avoid walking on the floors with bare feet)

Hi Louis, Thank you for staying here you were a great host. I saw the maid mopping and cleaning the counters before I left that same day you arrived, apartment was cleaned. However the apartment came with travertine tile that is designed to appear to have stains. Floors would have to be renovated which I can not do nor afford so unfortunately it will always give this appearance, sadly its not marble. Benefits of this unit vs the nearby competition: - two Flat Screens tv with streaming - lots of natural lighting, corner unit - Open Space modern kitchen - modern appliances - lots of art work makes place cozy -extra pull out queen bed -front door parking same floor -cute decor

Awful Experience
Due to unforeseen circumstances, our check-in time had to be moved from 4pm to after 7 pm because the host had to clean the apartment himself. Although, I was understanding of this, my family and I had traveled all day, we had two small children with us and was exhausted. The host gave a tour, the decor was nice. However, upon preparing the kids for bed later, a cockroach crawled out of the sleeper unit. The blanket provided was dirty, the shower curtain liner filthy. The towels hanging in the bathroom were dirty, the dishes in the cabinet were also dirty..the list goes on! We left the next morning instead of the 6 days I initially booked. When I contacted the host, about it, I was told 1 roach was not enough of a complaint for a refund. He was unwilling to help until I contacted Vrbo. He then offered to replace the towels, shower liner, etc and asked me to return, but an apartment with even one roach is unsuitable for me and my family. The host’s resolution was to tell me my complaints were easy fixes and refund me $50. For the amount of money we payed, more effort should have been made to make sure the apartment was clean. Totally disgusting!

At the tour I gave her throughout the apartment she kept on saying how clean and beautiful it was. It's why I was extremely surprised when she left the next day without any previous notice and without giving me the opportunity to fix the alleged problems. Why? Or was there really one? The guest closet is full of clean linen. As part of routine maintenance the unit gets fumigated periodically. She seemed to be more interested in getting the full refund than to solve any problem. This sounds like the oldest trick in the book. I suspect it's because at the last minute she realized that place wasn't big enough to bring her kids.

Nice little spot.
Very convenient location. Close to downtown and highways. Quiet area. Place was mostly clean and access to all necessities. Renter even left some extra for us to use. Overall a good place to stay.

Was asked to check in 4 hrs later than check in bc cleaner had not been there yet. Was fine w this as I had laundry to do having been at a hotel that week and had my car. When I did get to the property, owner msgd saying he would be unavail for the next hr.. which was concerning bc a car was already parked in the space for the apt. He then told me park in the #2 space. Lockbox was difficult but I managed to get it to work. When I finally got in, place was stifling and I thought how could someone have just been in here cleaning? (They weren't). There was 1 portable floor ac in the bdrm. which instructions said not to move. Bdrm was ok temp but thats it. I was greeted by several cockroaches.. one crawled right onto my luggage 1st thing. Everywhere I went.. there went a cockroach. AC unit was not enough to cool the apt in 86 degree heat so getting ready work next day was miserable. Shower head is rainfall deal in a super tiny tub/shower.. so even trying to wash was nearly impossible. The bowl sink didnt drain, faucet leaked from the base.. Nothing was actually clean.. kitchen was greasy, place smelled like an ashtray and my belongings when I left smelled like cigarette smoke. Everything is controlled by Alexa which is the owner's quirk so whatever.. I had no issue with the decor as some other had.. its not my business. I found the place impossible bc the smoke and the lack of actual ac (and also the immovable bars on the windows made me uneasy) so I simply planned to leave day early after a nap when I got back from my nightshift. This was Mon am and as soon as I settled to sleep b4 my 3 hr drive home, there was sawing & hammering in the ceiling directly above. I walked out to see the apt upstairs completely gutted, workmen going up and down. Construction truck parked behind the space I was supposed to park in and when I walked out to pack my car (no sleep just get out) I saw sharp screws had been thrown all around my tires. Upset.. I msgd to Adrian know all of this as I left and all he had to say was "please dont leave a review!" When I asked for a refund for a clear RIP OFF he said HE didnt appreciate people trying to take advantage of HIM. Took $800 of good faith $ for a place he knew very well had construction going on overhead. THAT was why he didnt want me checking in at 3 on Fri. So I got tricked for the wknd and was going to leave without a word and wNO review till he pulled his "taking advantage" bit. I can make more money. Horrible.

Sorry Nya L I could not provide you with a free vacation. I am sorry that you do not know how to use air conditioning control. That you would be bothered by safety bars in the window, that you be bothered by cigarette smoke even though I don't smoke or allow anyone to smoke. That a regular standard bathroom is too small for you. I am surprised you are the only one that has seen bugs in months, would be nice if you provided pictures. Clearly, there is nothing that will make you happy than a free stay since that's the only remedy that you demanded.

Gréât location for us/ lighting and general decor iffy
The apartment was in a great location for all we needed to do. All the artificial flowers and the bordelo lighting in the bathroom we’re a bit much. The Alexa controlled lighting was not a plus for us. Forgot about it on first walking in and then we were cooked. It could really use some detailed instructions for using the TV. Four controllers. We used two? The bed was comfy. Really need to upgrade the plumbing. Slow drains everywhere. Contacted owner several times and he responded quickly. With a few touches this could be a great place.

Thank you for the great feedback regarding how to improve our property for future guests. It is always my goal to ensure our guests are comfortable and to provide a welcoming environment. The flowers have been removed due to homeowners association request so no worries about that. I will create a TV remote guide for future guests and as for the plumbing there’s nothing wrong with it works great. I understand the mood lighting is a matter of personal preference and new technology can be challenging for the elderly. Thank you again for staying with us.

Mini vacation
I enjoyed my stay here for my mini vacation away from home . The place was clean and sanitized, the property manager was on point with answering all of my questions. Next time I’m Orlando I think this might be my place to stay . I’d recommend this place to friends that visit .

Refrigerator was disgustingly dirty and full and so was closet, no where to hang clothes and full of scattered junk, was not sure bed was clean, did not feel like taking bath there. Had to park in street since owner had his vehicle in designated spot. Worst experience ever using VRBO, feel ripped off. I have photos to prove.

To those seeing this review please understand I live in this apartment therefore be mindful some of my stuff will be there. Since he was staying for a week I need to park my car in assigned parking spot fearing it be towed. Though I do lock the master closet since it has all my stuff there. However, I do provide plenty of drawer space for cloths he’s being unreasonable. Bedsheets was washed the same day he arrived. Furthermore, the apartment was cleaned spotless including the fridge and bathroom.

Peaceful quiet stay
Minus the hot water only staying hot for less than 10 mins , I really enjoyed my stay . The only other thing I would say is that it could be a little bit more organized. The hall closet where the towels are , & the cabins in the kitchen where the dishes are . I could only find one wash cloth , also the refrigerator and freezer could use a good wipe down and more organizing . Those are minor things that can be fix . Overall I loved my stay , it was very peaceful & the location is close to everything.
