Great Location and Property

Great location and property. I like that the apartment had many items in the kitchen available for us to cook meals. This is really helpful with two children and prevents us from having to go out to eat all of the time.There is a Publix in the plaza right behind the resort within walking distance.The resort pool is nice with many activities for the kids. There is also a nice fire pit at the pool for night swimming. Overall a great stay within minutes to sea world or any other theme park you are visiting.

Mostly good

The place was clean and spacious. Didn’t like the fact that we had to supply our own things once run out - toilet paper, dish soap, etc. also had to buy salt and pepper as there was none. Also didn’t have the gate key for the pool where it was supposed to be. We called, said they would get back to us, they never did.

Volleyball Tournament

We stayed here for a volleyball tournament at the convention center. Unit is right across from the pool on the third floor. You do have to drive to the convention center from this unit. We were able to easily Uber to DisneyWorld for a day or two.

Great location, but not worth the cost!The location of this condo in Vista Cay is definitely a plus—walking distance to Publix, restaurants, and just minutes from the Orange County Convention Center. The pool area is also very nice, with a bar and food service available.However, the unit itself is in serious need of renovation. While it’s spacious with three bedrooms, the condition of the furniture and carpet was disappointing. The carpet was heavily stained, and several chairs were broken or unusable.Also, be very cautious with fees. I was charged 799 in host fees, in addition to service fees and taxes. I tried to dispute it after my fees increased from my original booking and they refused to reimburse me. For the price I paid, I expected a much higher quality experience. Unfortunately, the fees made the stay feel overpriced and not worth it. Wouldn’t book again unless the unit is updated and pricing becomes more transparent.

Our experience at this property fell well below expectations. Upon arrival, we found the unit to be unclean and poorly maintained. The carpet was dirty, and there was heavy dust buildup in the air and bathroom vents, which blew into the living spaces. We also noticed a red residue on the back of the master bathroom door that required significant scrubbing to remove, white powder behind the master bedroom door, a broken dresser, and toilet seats that were heavily worn and peeling. There was also mold residue in the showers and layers of dust and grime on light switches, doors, and baseboards throughout the unit.We chose this property based on the listing description and price point, expecting a clean, comfortable, and well-kept space. Unfortunately, what we walked into was the opposite—and it impacted our trip so significantly that we made the decision to check out early.Maintenance did come by and attempted to address a few of the issues, but their 45-minute visit wasn’t enough to make a meaningful difference. This unit is in need of a deep, thorough cleaning and updates to its worn and broken furnishings.I’m not sure what happened at this property in June, as the reviews prior to that were very positive. I’m a frequent VRBO user, and sadly, this experience has been disappointing enough that it will take some time to regain confidence in booking again.

Perfectly located for Universal parks and EPIC. Amenities in walking distance e.g supermarket, liquor store, takeaways and a burger bar to name a few. Communal pool beautiful, clean well kept and a real treat to relax around after a few busy theme park days and parking easy and plentiful. Apartment nice, perfect for 3 adults but maybe a little small for 7 beds! Not enough glassware to accommodate 7 people, trash bags and toilet roll were provided but not enough for our 12 day stay so we had to buy more! Carpets a bit stained and dining chairs were cracked. Bedside lamp not working in master bedroom and bed in second bedroom was starting to collapse so our daughter didn’t have a very comfortable sleep. The cleaning standard was not great with crumbs left on the chairs and weirdly the beds were made without a duvet cover only a sheet, not very hygienic I feel and that meant you could see that the duvet was a bit grubby! The photo shown in the image of the balcony is outdated the view now looks on to another apartment building so not a view of grassland as shown in the photo see photo ….. Would I stay again? Yes on Vista Cay for the location and facilities. Just a few improvements would make the apartment perfect.
