"Great value and maintenance, but let down by breakfast and Wi-Fi.The Rosen exceeded my expectations for comfort and cleanliness, though it had notable operational flaws. Given the low rates, I anticipated a basic budget stay since the property looks dated. However, it is remarkably well-maintained and spotless. The room was highly comfortable, featuring a great bed, and the staff was helpful and welcoming.
Unfortunately, two major issues detracted from the experience:
* Breakfast Shortfalls: My Expedia booking stated breakfast was included, but the hostess said it was not. The front desk refused to help. I paid $19 out-of-pocket another day, but the food was incredibly bland—the eggs and sausage lacked flavor, and choices were limited to white toast. Worse, while the dining room was 3/4 full, staff closed the entrance and shut down the coffee machine for cleaning. After multiple complaints, they brought out a small carafe that only served three people. Staff must remain attentive until all guests finish. I do not recommend this breakfast.
* Poor Wi-Fi: The Wi-Fi in Building 4 (4th floor) was terrible, constantly locking up and dropping connection. It barely supported basic emails. This was compounded by weak AT&T cellular service in the surrounding area. Management needs to invest in internet upgrades and boosters.
Despite these issues, the core accommodations are top-notch. With better management oversight regarding the dining and internet, this property would offer flawless"
