No real downside except the cost of heating the pool.

Our 1st Florida extended stay

Our trip was wonderful..the weather was gorgeous..there is much to do in the area..food places galore. We saw a baby alligator sunning on the rocks in back..many different bird types too! I loved the Sand Cranes.The Villa was a bit worn..a bit of updating would be good,.The bed pillows are limp and flat...no safety railing on pool or hot tub..which I definitely needed...the steak knives would not cut anything..there could be some side tables on the pool deck by the loungers.THE POOL was the best part!..it was heated..we were in it every day.The traffic in the area was mind blowing...but no fault of yours..the area is very busy...All in all I say 8 out of 10 for our first extended stay...for first timers who want to try out longer stays ..I would recommend this villa
