Best trip ever

Reunion Resort is a family favorite. This is the first home we have rented and it just upped the experience. We loved the amenities and pool. The water park is fantastic. I only regret not getting the high score on the basketball game! Would stay here again for sure!

Reunion

Positives: We love Reunion, amenities, and location to Disney. Management company was very responsive. Property was spacious and everyone had their own privacy/space. House was very fun for a group. Kids loved the game room and pool. Negatives: Mattresses were uncomfortable and house could use a little maintenance (touch up paint, handle missing off refrigerator etc). The pool area wasn’t picked up or cleaned very well on our arrival.

Disastor no communication and many lies from managment

I contacted the office many times before i came to confirm the heat would be on and that i have would have 2 pack n play as promised and paid for when i came the pool was cold and there was no pack n play i called the office they said tomorrow we will fix it and like this went the entire vacation me calling a few times a day and them lying. finally on Wednesdays i was leaving on Thursday they said heat does not go on if it colder then 60 i said yesterday was 65 they said near pool it needs to be and its not i had a few friends staying at the resort no one had issues and they didn't tell me about this when i asked a few times before i came about the cold even thought everyone knew it would be cold that week Wednesday afternoon the pool got a little warmer, was still cold but got a little warmer and it was colder then Tuesday outside so absolute lies and then my kid had no place to sleep finally on Wednesday after 12 afternoon they brought the pack n play my kid didn't sleep all week because of them was a true disaster NO ONE should stay with Florida vacation home rentals they are a true disastor

Nice House-Non Resolved Issues

This house is very nice and very clean. However, we paid for pool and spa heat that ended up not working properly. The pool heated fine, but the spa was the same exact temp as the pool. We reached out to the management company and they said that they were remotely accessing the temp and it was fine (86 degrees F). I asked if that was as warm as the spa went as usually a spa or hot tub would be over 100 degrees. They said that it should go up that high but then just kept telling me the issue was that we needed to turn on the timer. We cranked it every hour for an entire day and it didn't do any good. The jets blew in cold water. They said they would send someone to fix but it took days and when the man showed up, he didn't identify who he was or what he was doing so we thought he was a timeshare person. He never corrected us and just left. The management company called after he left and said he wouldn't be able to return. It is annoying that we paid for something that did not work properly. We were unable to use the spa as it was not warm enough compared to the air temp.

Magical Estate

We loved the house and the kids loved it also. They liked the bedrooms, the game room(FYI air hockey was not working and one of the motor cycle games has a half screen that is not working) and the pool of course. Everything was very clean and was well stocked with towels and kitchen supplies. We did have some issues that did put a damper on our vacation, the fridge was not working properly. It was not cold and the freezer was not making ice, we can live with the fact that we had to go buy ice while being at the house. The problem is that I informed the contact on Thursday the day after we got there, was informed that it could take up to 48 hours for a response, so what ever. No one showed up to look at the fridge until Tuesday the day before we leave so that would be a response time of around 100 hours. In between that time we had to through out most of the $400 worth of food that we bought on the first day. So not only did we toss out a lot of food, that meant we had to go out to dinner with 11 people and that's not cheep, so we were out that money that we were planning on saving by eating at home. So I don't know who is responsible for the response time on the repair to the fridge. The guy who came out on Tuesday was very nice and did get the fridge to cool down a bit but it was to little to late. Another issue we had was that we did not have any hot water from Friday to Sunday I don't know what the issue was there but that was just another issue that we had that would of been nice to get resolved the first day that we noticed that we had none. In stead it took two days for it to get resolved. If it was not for these two problems it would of been awesome but just having to spend so much money on groceries just to through them away really sucked. Then to have to spend the money to go out to eat on top of that was just another hit to the money out the door. The area is great, house is very nice, just wish these issues could of been taken care of in a more timely fashion. Amazing house

Super fun house the kids almost enjoyed it more than Disneyworld! Had all the special touches and disney decorations and art to make it feel like a great experience for young and old. Beautiful location the backs up to a peaceful and great wetlands view. It was exceptionally clean. We were very pleased

Reunion Resort, Kissimmee, Florida

The experience with renting property was very good except, a month before the vacation the house I chose was no longer available with VRBO. I had 24 hours to choose another home and I had to pay the difference. Besides that the house was perfect for my family in every detail. The pool was a plus and that each bedroom had a private bath. The beds were extremely comfortable. It was difficult to get out of bed in the morning. The water park was a hit with my 2 grandsons and the Traditions restaurant in the golf club was very nice. There was a raccoon that kept visiting the fenced pool area...so don't leave food unattended. Great house and wonderful resort for anyone.

Lots of room / Great pool area

We enjoyed our stay at this home....always some positives and negatives but overall it was good experience. A few negatives.....I had requested pool heat once when making the reservation and a second time via a message in the VRBO app. Unfortunately, the pool heat was not on when we arrived so I had to spend some time getting that figured out. They apologized and only charged for the days it was on. There were some lights out in the bathrooms and a “furry friend” seemed to visit the pool area once a day.....could be a little alarming if kids were in the pool area....my older daughter was out there and it didn’t seem scared of her. I don’t think there’s a way to really control the wildlife....we did not leave garbage out and it seemed like a clean, well kept neighborhood. It was a quiet location....other than the building construction with a couple new houses next door. The kitchen was well equipped and it was nice that there were a few basic essentials to get us started. My girls all loved having their own bedroom and bathroom! The pool area is beautiful and the actual pool was bigger than I expected. There were plenty of pool chairs for all of us. It was our first time renting a house so I wasn’t sure what to expect but we would stay at this home again.

Great accommodations!

We had a great relaxing stay. Loved the spacious pool area. The only issue we had was we had a daily visitor (few times a day) from a raccoon. He would come right up almost to the house in the pool area. Didn’t seem threatened by us and he was not shy at all. Could have used a few more washcloths and dishcloths. I did purchase some and just left there. Since we had a baby with us it was super convenient that there was a high chair and other things for her. We would stay here again.
