We rented this unit for 2 weeks and were very unhappy with this rental. First, the carpet throughout this whole unit is matted down with ground in stains and a hole, and it makes the whole unit smell. When I complained owner offered to come and clean it, but I declined; in my experience cleaning will not make any difference and I did not want to deal with having maintenance in the unit or a wet carpet. Next issue was wasps getting into the screened in porch through the holes in screen; maintenance stopped by unit when we were not there to patch one hole but did not patch large hole leading outside. Next issue was small ants that appeared on counter every time we attempted to fix food, so we ate out the majority of our visit. Someone knew about the bug issue before we rented because there was wasp spray and ant spray in the unit. The bedspread smelled dirty, they offered to bring another, but I chose to wash it. When renting a vacation unit, I do not want to deal with issues that should have been addressed by owner prior to my visit. We informed owner that we were leaving a day early due to the condition of unit and no refund was offered. Pool was nice as well as workout facility. Also, when I called the VRBO 800 number the tech and supervisor took all of the information and pictures that I sent and provided a small credit once they reviewed the information.
