Lovely Villa

Hi after staying in your home for 3 weeks we have to say we had a wonderful time. The villa is one of the best we have stayed in. All the facilities we needed and more, easy access to the 192. Great home to enjoy in Orlando !

We have loved stay in Orlando. The house is beautiful, very spacious and well equipped. The property have modern appliances. We have loved the smart tv and blu-ray 3D. The house is placed near to supermarkets, restaurants and pharmacy (5 min). When we have arrived, the house was clean et ready for us.

A beautiful place for a family of any age.

It was a great place to stay that was in a very safe gated community. The house was perfect for our family who had 3 teenage girls. There were TV's, WIFI, a pool, and garage filled with air hockey, pool table, and other games to keep everyone occupied when we were there. The neighborhood was wonderful for walks at any time of day. Only wish we had known that down the street was a tennis court. We would have brought our rackets. We would definitely stay here again.

Positives: Gated community Number of bedrooms Nicely decorated TVs (which we didn't use due to our schedule) Negatives: Difficult to communicate - maintenance is handled by a 3rd party and their availability is only Monday through Friday - around 9:30am to 4:30pm. Check-in is at 4pm. So, if you find anything wrong, you are out of luck as owner just redirects all queries to management company. Poor check in experience - no visit by either owner or maintnenance company staff during our stay of 7 days. We were given wrong security code to check in. So alarms were blaring during our check in. All our kids were scared. Maintenance company didn't pick up the phone and only way was to contact the owner via email. No info on Wifi code, whereabouts for trash bags etc May be wrong expectations: Dishwasher didn't close properly. Trash bags weren't there. Second night one of the bed was broken. Discovered that previous guests had broken it and it seemed it was not properly fixed. Left a voicemail to management company, no response. Basic toiletries were missing. Even dishwashing soap was limited which couldn't have lasted 7 days if dishwasher would have worked. Told the owner and she just asked to send a voicemail. Also, one thing we realized late was that checkout time was 10 instead of 11 (contract says 11 whereas welcome letter says 10 so a breach of contract. We realized it too late that instead of contract, they insisted it is 10). So we were a bit late for which we did call the management company. However, still the owner was prompt to point out that she would like to charge us for the late check-out. I understand it is a policy but at the same time, with so many kids, there should have been some consideration when we had already called the management company at 10:30 that we are leaving at 10:45. However, we were sort of pushed out at 10:45 which resulted in us leaving some of the things messy as cleaners had told us they will take care of it and not a big deal. It was a learning experience for us that probably we should have stuck with tried and tested properties and probably our expectations were wrong. We expected to spend more time enjoying the parks rather than doing grocery for trash bags and toilet paper as owner won't have any!

Very good property everything we needed and more was available.

Stayed for 16 nights. Very clean tidy property. had a small issue with the BBQ which was sorted out immediately upon reporting it. Only 1 negative was the double bed in the downstairs front room was very uncomfortable. Could do with a new mattress. other than that everything was perfect and I would recommend this property to others.

the house was a great little gettaway house! Very comfortable and in a good neighborhood. Would definitely rent again. The only "downfall" and not really a problem, more like a suggestion, is some tv's in the room would of made it excellent. Only having a tv in the living rooms was a little hectic with 10 people in the house. But aside from that, we had a great time.

house not a 5 star

we stayed in this house from mar.12th until mar. 29th 2018.this house could be a 5 star if it was better maintained and cleaned when we arrived my 5 year old granddaughters when into the upstairs bathroom to wash their hands and the vanity false front fell on the floor so we put it in the vanity and contacted the owner she sent a mister fix it who stuck it back in place but did not fix it , then the owner said she was going charge us for it so we took and sent pictures to the owned of loose cupboard doors, closet doors hanging of, very dirty heat vents and bathroom exshaust vents, extra blankets in closet not washed, mouldy toilet brush. my wife spent a day on her hands and knees cleaning very dirty floor tile and carpet,the owners site also is false advertising because it says heated pool does not mention extra charge for heat, there is two 4 slice toaster and only one side working on both vacuum cleaner looks as old as me and does not suck much. i am a 40 year red seal carpenter so believe me i seen how much work this house needs. i was not very happy with this owner. also no safe in this house ricky kennedy

The property was exactly as described!

We had a lovely week in our vacation home. The home is located in a beautiful, quiet, gated neighborhood. The house was very clean, which is the most important thing in my opinion. We did have to pay extra for heating the pool, which was needed, and for use of the grill. There is a grocery store right around the corner, and other stores such as Walmart, Target and Ross are about 10-15 min. away. My husband discovered a cool coffee shop called Axum, so if you're a coffee addict, be sure to check it out. It has a cat cafe next door so if you want, you can hang out with some rescue cats while sipping your coffee.

February 2018 Vacation - MacMillans

This villa is situated in a perfect location (Hwy 192/27) near all things Disney, and all restaurants, shopping, and conveniences you could ask for. The villa is beautifully decorated and very comfortable for our family to enjoy. The gated community is very safe and quiet. The pool and screened in area are additional living and relaxing space to enjoy. We, and our family members really enjoyed the home/pool/games room and the convenience of the location. We really enjoyed our 4 weeks stay, it felt like home for us. We recommend this villa for other families to enjoy.

Moved out after one night. One word. BEDBUGS

we thought found perfect house back in March. Thank goodness we came two days before we started parks to rest and relax, because those two days were wasted dealing with the issues from this house. Go ahead and know now that the owner is going to say I was the problem from the very start. So I will tell you and you can see for yourself. I was supposed to have a package delivered on the Monday Dec 18 but it came Friday before my arrival. I plainly asked if anyone staying in the house or if it would be ok until I got there. Owner says I expected management to get package. No. I simply asked a question. Her welcome letter states that towels were provided. No need to bring. We had TWO towels for twelve people no washcloths or hand towels . So I made a call to management. Next the thermostat is under lock and key and it was 76 degrees downstairs and above 85 upstairs. Unbearable when outside it’s 80 plus. I can tell you the new house was set on 78 when we arrived and much cooler than even them finally setting this house to 72. I brought a fan from home. My son bought two and the management company brought over four big fans. Again a legit complaint. Then I paid for pool to be heated. It wasn’t and I received postcard saying it was not heating correctly. Again I called management. Had planned on just dealing with it. Tuesday morning my 90 year old father came out of his room with a bug on him. Management insisted I call pest control and yes to our dismay. They tore all five bedrooms apart to find LIVE BEDBUGS downstairs. Many on the bottom of box springs and some in actual bed and dead ones in another room upstairs. Pest control took many pictures. Owner says That I complained from minute one and I CLAIM I saw a bedbug. it was pest control who told us bedbugs. we left and 12 people homeless , spent two days in these issues. Owner refunded most of money except for the one night we spent with the bedbugs . She refused to refund my One night stay. We had to find another house dec 19. Worked on that all day. Had to pay an extra Money for different house. Homeaway will help get my money back if I have pictures of bugs. I asked for pictures to give to Homeaway but management Homes of America and owner not responding. Bedbugs are a huge deal owner will not acknowledge bedbugs. We changed sheets and the clean sheets had small blood stains too. Nasty. I will check beds from now on. I did not enjoy my stay there at all.

Superb villa in ideal location

This property was in an ideal location for all Disney attractions as well as great golfing facilities which was exactly what me and my party were looking for. The fact it was in a gated community gave us the added assurance of security. I would definitely recommend this property and if I return in the future, would book again.

Fantastic house, owner obviously prides themselves on its quality.

This is the best house we have rented in Orlando. The pool heating was really nice and required in March. House entertainment was great with the games room and excellent TV package, found English football and movies amongst the hundreds of channels. The area is quiet ensuring a good rest in the comfortable beds. I will be checking this house availability in future. House management company made a mistake but this was quickly rectified once reported.

A wonderful place to stay

Our family had a great time at this residence in HighGate Park. We found the house to be exactly as it was pictured. It provided plenty of space for 5 adults to spread out and enjoy some quiet time, or to be together and play games, watch a movie, etc. It is a very short distance from a Publix (grocery store), and just around the corner from several restaurants and attractions. The gated community felt very safe as we took walks/runs in the evenings. The kitchen was well supplied, and we ate breakfast at the house several mornings rather than waiting in line at local establishments. We had the pool heated, and found it to be "like bath water", so that it could be used even on the "chilly days". The only real issue we had at all was that the hot water heater was not adequate for 5 adults if we all tried to take a shower in the morning. The last 2 individuals received cold showers. So we staggered our showers between some taking them at night, and some in the morning. We also found that the cable box for the 60" screen flashed an error the entire time we were there and was not usable. It was a SmartTV though, so we just made use of our Hulu / Amazon accounts, for those times we just wanted to kick back and relax. The game room was well supplied (as shown in the pictures). The beds were very comfortable - not too soft and not too hard. There are two bedrooms downstairs which share a bath that is located between them. Three other bedrooms are located upstairs. the one is a Master bedroom suite with a bath of its own. The owner was quick to respond to every inquiry that I made, and had our deposit returned to us within a few short days. I would recommend this rental highly, and found it to be a great place to stay.

Very nice property.

Great place to stay and would use the location again. Approx 20 minutes to Disney parks and 40 minutes to Universal. The property was well maintained and had ideal facilities for our stay. Owner provided good communication throughout the booking process. Supermarkets located close by and a selection of bars and restaurants only a short drive away.

An Amazing Home!

This was the perfect home to rent for our family holiday to Florida. We had 4 adults and 6 children, with plenty of room to spare. We were able to enjoy the pool and game room often. It was just a short ride to Disney, so the location was great as well. Close to a grocery store, restaurants, and movie rental store if needed. Emily was a delight to work with :-). excellent place to stay

Hi, having just returned from our stay at your wonderful villa I thought I would leave some feedback for you. The description of you villa was very accurate. The location was good for restaurants on the 192, within a few minutes from the Walmart, plenty of towels and linen and the pool was very welcome after a long day at the theme parks. This was one of the best Villas we have experienced out of all our Florida Holidays (and we have had 5) would definitely recommend this villa to family and friends. Fantastic home offering everything we needed

I travelled with my husband, 2 children and my parents and the home had plenty of room for everyone. The description given was exact and Emily was always on the ball answering any questions I emailed to her, very easy to deal with. The property was clean and well maintained. With the two living areas the children could watch their DVDs rented from Publix and we could watch ours at the same time. Storage and cooking facilities were great and plenty of crockery and plastic glasses are always a bonus. The pool was fantastic and so pleased we had it heated which meant we could get in at any time of the day, it was like a bath. The games room was also an added bonus for evenings in. Location of the home was perfect with easy access to the 192 or I4 and Publix just 2 mins up the road was extremely handy. I would certainly recommend this property to friends and if visiting Orlando again we would hope to stay here.

Perfect for large family reunion and visits to Disney.

The house was clean, well appointed, and great for our 9-11 members ranging in age from 4-55 for 8 nights. All appliances worked well. The pool and game room were wonderful. The TVs/bluray in the main room, living room and master suite worked well. We did not use the BBQ, but it appeared to be in great condition. The pool fencing and patio furniture were in great safe condition. I appreciated the plastic cups for the patio and pool area. We really appreciate that it was a completely smoke free house, we are athletes and are very sensitive to any smoke or residue. The wifi was great and there were plenty of outlets for everyone's phone charging. The neighborhood was mostly quiet, one morning dogs were barking, but otherwise very quiet. One member of our party did several morning long distance runs in the area and felt very safe. The grocery store is just a little south and has lots of selection. The drive to Disneyworld (we always went 27 to hwy 4, we prefer the larger freeways; the gps had other routes too), it only took about 20-30 minutes until we parked. Most of the wait was at the parking pay booth. We used the stroller and it saved us a rental cost of $15 at the Disney park stroller rental. I appreciated the stroller tremendously. The beds were comfortable. The most comfortable were the twins and the queen and king on the first floor. The pillows were nice, clean and plentiful. The sofa bed worked well for our overnight guests (visiting so late, it made no sense for them to drive home). The extra blankets stocked in the closet were the softest I have ever known in a rental, although we never had occasion to use them, it was warm between 60 low and 85 high for all our days. The linens were fine, we had no problems and the towels were the most plush ever! We had such a large group of 9 (plus 2 stayed over on the sofa bed because it got so late one night which made us a group of 11 for a day) and about half left on Saturday night and half on Sunday. We did most of the laundry on Saturday, and the washer is the largest I have ever seen, I am considering that model for my next washer. The owner is attentive and responsive, I have never rented through vrbo or home away before and this was a great experience. We were lucky to be able to be together because we would not have been able to visit with friends and family as easily if we stayed in hotels. I would rent this house again, and so would our friends and family who stayed with us.

This home felt like home to us. Very comfortable

We had a great time. On rain days (3) the home was close to many attractions. Great golf @ a good price were also close. The house itself was exactly as stated. We're from Wisconsin and missed 2 wks. of -40 deg. weather. The pool was nice,warm & clean. We did have some maintenance problems-they were corrected same day. Great cust. service. We would recommend this home to our friends.
