Great White Cape Escape

This is a wonderful cottage. Homey, spacious, and with lots of Cape Cod touches. The yard is huge and perfect for kids. This cottage is a short walk from Pilgrim Lake, a small lake that is a great recreation spot for both children and adults. We enjoyed paddle boarding. Paddle boards were at the cottage for our use. We had a fantastic family week at this charming cottage.

Perfect Family Cape Cod Getaway!

We just had the most wonderful week at this Cape Cod home with our family! The house was exactly what we were hoping for - beautifully updated with comfortable new beds and nice outdoor furniture, but it still had that classic Cape Cod charm we love. The kids absolutely loved the huge backyard with the swing set, and we spent so many evenings around the fire pit making s'mores after grilling dinner on the fantastic BBQ. Everything felt fresh and well-maintained, but not overdone in a way that would lose the cozy Cape Cod feel. The location was perfect for our family needs. We could easily walk to the fresh water lake, which was great for our younger kids who aren't strong swimmers yet, and when we wanted the full beach experience, both Skaket and Nauset Beach were just short drives away. Having both options made everyone happy and gave us variety throughout the week. The owners and rental company were also incredibly responsive and gave us some great local tips that really made our trip special. Honestly, this house delivered everything we hoped for and more. The combination of modern comfort, authentic charm, amazing outdoor space for the kids, and such a convenient location for both lake and beach access made it the ideal family vacation base. We're already talking about booking again for next summer because it truly felt like home away from home. I'd definitely recommend this to any family looking for the perfect Cape Cod getaway!
