“The property is beautiful, as well as the hiking trails right on the river! We had an amazing time, and we definitely will be back. The only downside was that we were expecting a little more privacy with the romantic rv with “private” hot tub. The hot tub wasn’t very “private”, as the owners house was visible, and 40ft away. There are other hot tubs on the land that feel more private, as well as an amazing outdoor shower! 10/10 would recommend, and we definitely want to come back! You can tell……

“This house fit all 9 of us comfortably. The old house is a little creaky, but has lots of character. Having three bathrooms was a plus! It has absolutely everything. All the kitchen stuff you would need, lots a games and puzzles, a large deck and yard with lots of outdoor furniture and even a propane heater and fire table. We stayed there for my son's wedding at Thornewood Castle, and my whole family had a great time.”

“Great stay! Easy communication with the owner. The house was just as listed and accommodated our family well. The rooms were great sizes and beds were comfortable. We would recommend upgrading the grills as we were unable to use either of them, and having a few spices or salt/pepper on hand would be a great. We also would recommend adding tv’s to a few bedrooms as there was only the 1 in the family room for us all to use. A check in and check out list or folder would also be helpful for guests……

“It was the perfect size for two people and in a great location. A microwave, mini fridge, and an electric kettle are provided. The shower was a bit messy at times but overall a great stay.”
