This was a second visit, which we enjoyed, and will return. As a former police officer, I have been impressed with the feeling of safety in the areas we visited. One could leave a bicycle or stroller with equipment and it was still there on return.

I love the architecture of buildings near the huge multi level mall in the shopping area of Osaka. From what I've seen in Osaka streets the city is very clean and there are no homeless. Japan has pride and we hope to travel to Japan again someday.

The first time I was in Osaka, I did not experience the city fully. This second trip, I stayed for an entire week and it quickly became my favorite destination in Japan. The breadth of culture and food is really something to behold for yourself.

Fantastic, friendly, easy city; history and modern convenience combine to make for a memorable and enjoyable visit. Give yourself at least three full days to see all there is to see....and if you're there in March, take in the sumo regionals!

Take day trips on the JR line. I got a 4 day unlimited pass and used it on buses and many many train rides. Spent the morning in Kyoto going to the Golden pavilion and stop that shin-Osaka, then afternoon trip to Kobe for dinner! Yummy!

Beautiful city. The castle is brilliantly organised, easy to follow explanations of historic interest. Well organised access of queues and easy to find assistance. The city is very busy and the transport system is excellent. Thank Osaka.

Osaka was a busier city with lots of people on the move! We did a go-kart tour which was a really fun way to see the area. Also, we did a day trip to Nara from here that is definitely recommended but can also be done from Kyoto area.

We loved Osaka. Kids Plaza was terrific. My kids absolutely loved it. They were not so impressed with the Aquarium or Legoland. We did not visit Universal Studios because of the anticipated length of time waiting in lines.

Osaka is a wonderful place to travel to. We went to Nara to feed the deers, to Kyoto sightseeing, and of course to shop in the premium outlet, in the Nambo, and Dotonbori area. There are lots of tourists even after 11pm.
