Good restaurants nearby and supermarket. Bed was very soft. Well equipped kitchen some cups were chipped. Some noise from bin area in middle of the night.

Quick and 24hours communication and perfectly prepared all things in the room Only bad thing was lack of lights in the room. It was too dark in the night. But if i have another opportunity to travel in aborad, i’d like to book here again

The location was great not far from Oslo Central Station and Bus Terminal. A lot of restaurants, bars and groceries stores nearby. The apartment doesn't have AC. During the summer it is very hot.

Great short stay! Only for the night, but it was a really nice place, very spaciuos and comfortable. Nices beds! Sea lesa check in and check out process. Will definitely look out for BobW in future trips!

Absolutely loved our stay at Bobs Place. All the attention to detail was impeccable. We’ve stayed in a lot of accommodation over the years and this was by far the best. Bobs place should be the benchmark for all other accommodation providers to live up to. We loved the extras like the Polaroid camera, coffee on arrival, yoga mats and how easy it was to contact Bob if we had any questions. Thanks so much for an amazing stay.

Very central and spacious

Good communication throughout our stay. Apartment was very spacious. We enjoyed the benefit of an oven and washing machine. Public transport was readily available. Bus 37 stops across the street and the metro is close to Oslo central.

The apartment was very clean and sizable with kitchen and laundry machine. The furniture seemed adequate but I wouldn’t be surprised if it needed replacement soon. We were able to cook dinner and breakfast each day. We checked out as I write but left our luggage in designated secure area for pick up when we leave to catch the ferry to Copenhagen. You won’t be disappointed!

Close to train station and downtown. Lots of room, comfortable beds. Electronic check in and “keys” worked great, as did wifi. Quite responsive when we had questions. Overall very happy with our stay and would book again!

Lovely modern, spacious and well equipped apartment with everything you might need and some nice extras. Host was very communicative. Location felt slightly edgy to arrive at later at night with luggage (after midnight) but is otherwise a pleasant, bustling neighbourhood with plenty of amenities, and is walkable to the city centre and very close to the Bar Code district and waterfront.

Very compact apartment

Quite newly fitted out, and well equipped. Plenty of wardrobe space. Howeve no light over kitchen area so bit dark when using the oven and washing up. Some smells from the Turkish restaurant below. Need wifi to enter through 3 separate doors, but not to get out. Would not describe it as "roomy" as stated.

Outstanding apartment

We loved our apartment which was the “biggy” and well worth the extra expense for a longer stay with two bedrooms, full kitchen and 2 sitting areas, bonus is the washer/dryer in the bathroom. We were on the 5th floor so above the noise and had the window open at night, the bedrooms are at the rear not street side so no noise. It is very secure, locked gate and door to access the building. Whilst the area will not suit everyone, it’s busy and “kebab land” no shortage of food, it’s multicultural and shabbier than the other sides of Oslo, it would be impossible to get such a great apartment at this price in a different area, the tube is 200m walk but we actually walked from the main train station off the airport train to the apartment in 15min with cases. The customer service from Bob is outstanding and when we got locked out it took 5min to re send our code, brilliant, definitely worth booking.

Lots of nice extras but entry too high tech for us

The apartment itself is great with lots of little touches to make for a comfortable stay. We did not end up using the kitchen or washing machine but they did sway us when booking as good to have the facilities if needed. My main issue is the reliance on a mobile phone or other device that can communicate with gates and door to enter or exit. F you ran out of battery or had your device stolen there is no way in. I prefer a PIN code as less stress. I also did not have a phone only iPad without WhatsApp and this meant I relied on email and hotels.com message to gain details of apartment number. Felt quicker reply needed as was over 24 hours to receive one. Fortunately there is a number to call and I borrowed another persons phone to get details. I should have set up contact and provided personal details earlier and this would have been less stressful but the reliance on a device to enter and leave would remain. If that is not a deal breaker than recommend a stay.

The flat was fine, but I felt almost scamed when I realised that the breakfast I paid 600 NOK for only covered food for 200 NOK at a bakery 11 minutes away. So 25 minutes extra walk in the morningen and 3x the expence... A bad experience!
