“my husband and i enjoyed our stay. Set in a lovely position on the cliff above the beach the grounds were lovely with ample seating outside. All staff were friendly and helpful which contributed greatly to our enjoyment in the hotel. Would stay here again.”
“Generally very good, however there was a few disappointing things such as the bed wasn't particularly comfortable, the room was a bit small and tired, the black pudding at breakfast wasn't cooked properly (it was like rubber), also olive oil and balsamic should not be pre-mixed let people adjust the ratio to their taste. The staff were very good and the location is very good.”
“Would have rated it 5 stars overall, but one or two things were allowed to run out. For example, the Aspels cider, the decaf tea sachets, and the decaf coffee sachets. Better checking on such things on a regular basis would prevent these from running out, because they could be topped up before they run out.
Apart from the above shortcomings, good breakfast, good dinner, friendly and helpful staff.”
