“We loved our week-long stay in this well-appointed cabin! We woke up to the seagulls every day, took some nice walks in the woods at nearby nature preserves, went to 2 of Maine’s prettiest lighthouses, and enjoyed lots of lobster. The only drawback is that most restaurants are a good drive away and need a bit of planning in the evening. “The owners really have put so much thought into hosting. The attention to every need did not go unnoticed. The cabin was spotless and comfortable. We only stayed 3 nights as we were traveling to different areas, but did not want to leave here. The porch was a favorite spot, especially in the rain. “Great location- 2 clean cabins and great view of the pond! Off the beaten path. Busier road then expected so walking between the cabins with smaller children would have to be supervised - limited grocery storage for the five of us - later check in the most and earlier check - out! Fans kept us cool - beds comfortable ! Overall a few flaws but one of our favorite picks to date!”

“My family had a great time at the beautiful lakeside cottage. We have spent many family vacations in ME. This was one of the best. It's a great spot for multi generation family gatherings. The location was perfect. The lake is beautiful and totally serene. All the lake amenities (tubes, kayaks, float) were a huge plus. Plus the lawn, volleyball net and Zipline were perfect for extra fun. Our kids had a blast each day. Unfortunately we did not have the best weather during our week long vacation……

“Unit 9 was perfect for the 3 of us. The kitchen had enough of everything we needed to make breakfast. The living room was spacious and relaxing. The bedrooms are tight; one bed was firmer than the other. It was too rainy to use the nice deck and picnic table. Despite being located on Route 1 we were not at all bothered by highway noise. We would choose to stay here again.”
