“Loved the beautiful view. Room was very clean and spacious. The only negative for us was that, due to the date, we missed the previously included breakfast. Room could also use a microwave. ”

“I have to say that the Island View Inn was the cleanest, and best maintained hotel we stayed in during our recent week long trip to Maine. The view was great, the quality of the hotel is just a step above any other from that trip. I Can't compare it to others in the Rockland area, since we didn't stay in others, but compared to other locations in Maine, the quality and value was a level above those in similar or even higher price range. Thank you for the wonderful stay!”

“Very nice place to stay. Communication was great with check in staff and there were options for key retrieval after hours if needed. Room was spacious and clean. The only thing I would have wanted differently is the air conditioning unit to stay on all night rather than turning off/on after reaching a certain temperature in the room. The turning off/on made sleeping soundly throughout the night difficult at times.”

“Walked 3 minutes to Main Street from property. We just parked my car in the property, walk to town for food and shopping. Have nice space in the room. Staff is very friendly and helpful.”

“Clean room. We were traveling with a 13 month old, so we were thankful for the mini fridge. Had breakfast on site, we were in a hurry so I grabbed a couple pieces of pb&j pound cake- very tasty! Parking lot was great and easy to maneuver. ”

“The Rockford Harbor Hotel is an amazing luxury hotel. Our suite included a dining area, living room with fireplace, bedroom with fireplace, and two fabulous bedrooms. The hotel dining room had one of the best harbor views and great meals. The hotel and restaurant and bar staff were friendly, very helpful, knowledgeable and professional. In addition to the hotels fine restaurant, there were two of Rockport finest restaurants within a very short walking distance of the hotel. ”
