「We were only here one night, but I loved staying in this flat! It was a real insight into how people live their everyday lives in a city the size of Oxford. Manu was excellent about communicating with us and made sure we would have no trouble finding the flat or getting into it. I wish we could have stayed here longer, and I would definitely reach out to him again if I ever travel back this way!」

「Complete Disaster」

「Exactly as advertised. Kurt, the owner, was prompt in responding to every question. Great location if you don’t mind a little walking. Quiet, safe residential area. Cab fares to most Oxford locations were reasonable. Highly recommended by all three of us (seniors).」

「We had a very quiet time at this pod. The facility was recently built, so it was modern, warm, and comfortable with a great view. It was great that they had a wide variety of coffee and tea, and that cooking utensils were well-equipped. I also felt that they were committed to sustainability, such as using Faith in Nature shampoo. Things to keep in mind are that it would be that there was no dishwasher or washing machine, so everything had to be washed by hand.」

「My wife and I stayed at Folly Bridge House for the weekend and the location and studio were fabulous.It is quiet and secluded for a city getaway but easy to walk right out into the middle of Oxford..Catriona the house manager was very responsive and helpful both before and during the stay. 」

「The Breeze room that I stayed is on the ground floor. The door lock had some issues in the first day that it couldn’t be opened or closed properly. Then later in the first day it couldn’t open at all. “Luckily”, the room is beside the kitchen which has a separate door going to the backyard. Our room has a patio door that can go straight to the backyard. So we tried to get to the room through the patio door and it worked. We tried to open the room door from inside but still couldn’t work. So...

「My family and I truly enjoyed our stay at this apartment. Having two bedrooms and a big living/dining room was a plus. The location could not be beat; we were able to walk everywhere after parking our car at the nearby garage allocated to this apartment. It’s a lively street that it was on, with plenty of restaurants and bars in the area to keep us entertained and fed. Great stay overall!」

「We stayed in the Lavendula suite in the basement area. It was small, but very well appointed. The bed was very comfortable, the shower had good pressure with plenty of hot water and the kitchen was great for cups of tea and toasted snacks. Would not try to cook anything complex there though another person might be a better cook than myself. I also appreciated the eco-consciousness of the proprietors . Oh! The garden is idyllic!! Wonderful place to take a cup of tea and a scone and watch...

「We originally booked a one bedroom flat from the owners, but had to switch to a studio due to some emergency renovations being done. However, the studio turned out to be just fine and the owner adjusted the cost accordingly. The kitchenette came in handy and the location was great for walking into town. 」
