“Well, upon arriving at the hotel, I did not see any staff members except for construction workers on site. I would not have stayed there if I had known a few things beforehand. I checked in through a live person on camera, and later found out that the staff handling check-ins and check-outs were physically located in India. I just hope Super 8 has a strong protocol in place to protect guests’ personal information, since I was required to scan my ID and credit card during the check-in process.”

“We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel as it seemed older, and we did not have high hopes. It was clean and seemed like they did some updates. The staff, and we spoke with many, because we always have questions, were all outstanding and helpful. The cleaning staff were friendly and helpful. “The motel is the most dirty and most expensive one in my self-driving traveling history. Used toilet paper is floating in the toilet.the floor is covered by dirty oils.Service is very bad.Receptionist is impolite.”

“The lobby and breakfast area are being renovated so all the pictures of the hotel first floor are fake. When we stayed, everyone had to take the breakfast to your room. The hotel and Expedia should notify guests that there is construction going on. It should NOT be a surprise when you arrive. ”

“Beautiful historic property cleverly repurposed into a cozy inn. Our stay was delightful until synth harp music began blaring from the downstairs living room at 8 am. We have never experienced such a rude awakening and discovered it was set up on a Bluetooth speaker downstairs on what seemed to be max volume as we left - including commercials! If this is their way of making sure everyone is out earlier than the stated check out time I can attest it worked, but can’t recommend it for the same……

“This was a basic vintage hotel. It was comfortable and fine, but nothing to write home about. For instance, the rooms don’t have microwaves or little fridges. But the bathtub was really deep and awesome. It’s the kind you wanna get on the open ocean with a paddle and head your way to Hawaii.”

“Everything about our stay was excellent, but the best part by far was Tyler, the innkeeper. Kind, attentive, excellent communication and an amazing chef. We loved having breakfast with the other guests each morning, sharing delicious food and stories of our respective adventures in the redwoods. The ocean views are incredible and the bed was extremely comfortable. 10/10. ”

“We enjoyed our stay the room was large with a full refrigerator dishwasher microwave. We got there late so it was great they had a small area to buy food drinks snacks. The gym was really nice and so was the pool/ hot tub. The staff was friendly and helpful. ”

“The hotel is situated in the very noisy part of town. Basically the back of the building of my room was highway 101. The restaurant next to the hotel made it hard to have a parking spot by our building. In addition, one night the restaurant decided to pressure wash their roof and proceeded to do that at 11 o'clock at night. The hot tub and the pool area are cute. However, the hot tub sometimes did not feel hot and closed at 10:00 p.m. nightly. The room itself was clean and the staff was……
