All beds were extremely comfortable and the living and media room were great! The bathrooms are very dated but other than that, we were happy overall.

Amazing Getaway

This was a great house for use to get away for a few days. It is fairly secluded and the views are amazing from the deck. It is nice they provide fans for the rooms in case it is hot. We ordered some firewood and it was delivered to the house and we had some nice evening fires. The deck was great, the two rooms with tvs were comfy and great for family movie watching. the hosts were responsive as well with questions we had.

Christmas in Colorado

Our family had a wonderful stay in Pagosa Springs. The house was the perfect pet friendly place for our family to get together. The views are wonderful and it was a treat to see large elk herds from the patio our last two mornings. Arriving on December 24 to a (not requested) Christmas tree already up was icing on the cake.

Reviewer Comments: I am unsure words can describe what a wonderful time we had and the opportunities afforded us by the views.The House has an amazing great room in conjunction with a dining room and Kitchen. From this room and the deck we were able to see Elk migrating and even 2 bull elks having a "Discussion". We saw fox, and deer and coyotes. The Mountains were so close you could almost touch them. One night we invited my family that is local over for steaks on the grill and sat out in the rocking chairs on the deck and watch and amazing sunset. Another morning we watched an equally beautiful Full moon peeking thru the clouds, as it set. We have videos, pictures and memories that we will cherish for years to come. We plan on staying there in the future. The management Company checked in on us and was very responsive to a request. The Tea Kettle had seen better days, and we found a new one on the doorstep that afternoon.

Reviewer Comments: This house is very close to all the conveniences of town, but definitely has a private country setting, it has beautiful views and wildlife on and around the property. We saw deer and elk. We loved the following: cleanliness, the wrap around porch with plenty of seating & small tables, a large reasonably stocked kitchen with full size appliances, a large dining table, a nice hot tub, plenty of thick bath towels, a movie room with a large comfortable couch, a full sized laundry room. What could be improved: air conditioners for the bedroom areas; daytime temps were in the 90’s (end of July) & it took awhile for the bedrooms to cool in the evenings when going to bed. We were thankful for the fans provided & by morning the bedrooms were very cool, but if you want a cool room in the summer when going to sleep, it probably won’t be. The 4 plug outlet in the master bath wouldn’t work & we learned when we were leaving that the garage tripped a breaker when we opened it, which was also tied in with the bathroom outlet. A shower head bath supplies hanger in the master bath would be a great help. There were 2 wash cloths per bathroom & for 3 couples staying almost 2 weeks, that wasn’t enough, we had to go buy our own. The master bath needs a blind or curtain & the blind in the movie room was missing half of it, so there was a glare from the window on the tv the evening we watched a movie. There are tall sized steps going into the home and there’s a step into the downstairs bathroom that isn’t easily noticeable.

One of the best view properties in Pagosa. The interior has been reconditioned/remodeled and is very nice. The exterior needs maintenance and also landscaping. All in all very good stay and would have liked to stay longer.

The upper level wraparound deck was so nice to sit out on. The hot tub was a nice treat at the end of some long hikes. I do wish that there were better coffee options at the home. My husband had to go into town every morning to get coffee. An upgrade, or a Keurig would be nice. Other than that, our stay was fantastic. We were also so pleased with how accommodating they were with our dog. We would definitely stay there again!

The views were amazing from this house. We used the hot tub every night. The house was comfortable. The sun rise and sun set were great. Getting to town was a short drive to activities and food.

Breathtaking Views

My husband and I ( and our doggy Bodhi) had an amazing time! The house was just as listed. It was clean and the kitchen was fully stocked. The location was perfect. It was close to town, golf course, and shopping. We saw lots of different wildlife and hot air balloons each morning while enjoying our coffee on the deck. We also enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings. I will definitely items be back!

Peaceful and beautiful scenery

This house was amazing! From the breathtaking Mountain View’s which you can see from every angle on the wrap around deck. We enjoyed drinking coffee in the morning and watching the sunsets. Bonfire and hot tub were fabulous well. The house was spacious and open. The house is located close to town of Pagosa Springs, which offers many restaurants, shops, coffee shops. Rosie’s pizza is a must! The Springs Resort with its many hot spring pools and views of Saun Juan river was amazing! Watching the sunrise from the Hippy Dip hot is something I highly recommend. Treasure falls is about a 30minute drive and well worth it!! We enjoyed our stay in this house and Pagosa Springs.

The house was an awesome place to stay!

If you stay in the house, you need to have 4wd or AWD to make it up to the house especially if it snows. It’s a great house with ample space for at least 8 people.

elk view was great!

We actually stayed at Elk View when our original VRBO rental had to have some repairs done. The property was close to town and restaurants. We saw wildlife as promised. The house was large enough for 6 adults to stay and have their own space. Great property. Would definitely stay again.
