“We needed a quick one-night stay in Beauvais due to a flight to Palermo, & the Beauvais airport was what showed up in our plans...We had no expectations of how this location might be other than a decent place to sleep before a flight, and what a MARVEL to arrive & find that when it said "at the foot of the cathedral", it was not an exaggeration! One can literally look out one window & see the Cathedral, and out the other window to see charming houses. The cross-breeze with open windows was also……

“Super séjour au Clos d'Allonne, aussi bien en terme de confort de la chambre que d'accueil ! On peut garer son véhicule dans la cour, c'est proche d'un grand axe, mais bien isolé des bruits extérieurs. Richard m'a accueilli avec le sourire et a toujours de bons tuyaux à refiler. J'y retournerai volontiers lors d'un prochain déplacement sur Beauvais !”

“I had the pleasure of staying at Villa des Iris at the beginning of December. For the first time after several months of traveling, I unfortunately, made a mistake in my dates and arrived unannounced and unexpected. That said, Jack and his wife were so welcoming and kind and accommodated me for 2 (vs the originally booked 1 night). I was the only one staying in the villa, but I had a very cozy and wonderful stay while I visited Bervais and Amiens.”

“Les deux gites sont super pour un week-end entre amis ou en famille. Les espaces de vie commune sont hyper conviviaux, et les maisons sont bien équipées pour cuisiner à plusieurs Les seuls petits bémols sont l'absence d'intimité (chambres en enfilades) mais qui est totalement tolérable quand on reste un week-end, et les sanitaires (seulement 3 toilettes pour 25, dont 2 qui avaient des problèmes de chasse d'eau lors de notre séjour) Les procédures d'arrivée et de départ ont été très facilitées……

“Deze plek is een goede uitvalsbasis om de gotische kathedralen van Beauvais, Senlis, Noyon, etc te bekijken. Op 8 minuten lopen is een treinstation van waar je in 45 minuten met een directe trein op Gare du Nord zit. Dus ook prima voor een dagje Parijs. Het huisje is klein, maar ruim genoeg voor 2 volwassenen en 2 honden. De tuin is omheind. Op 5 minuten rijden is een bos, waar je makkelijk een uur kunt lopen met de honden. Ook mooie wandelingen gemaakt met de app Alltrails. Het is echter geen……

“I'd cycled to Beauvais as part of the Avenue Verte on the way to Paris, I arrived earlier than expected but pretty tired, I hadn't realised that the B&B didn't open until 5pm (this was at 2pm), luckily Stephan came down and opened up early for me. The room I had was stunning and I will definitely be back for a stay with a special friend. Breakfast gets plenty of mentions in other reviews but I found there was plenty of choice to keep me powering toward Paris. Thank you”
