“Wonderful traditional Riad, very clean and a great location. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, it felt like they couldn’t do enough for you. The staff will recommend places to eat and make your reservations for you. I’d highly recommend the excursion into the Atlas Mountains which the staff book for you. Our guide Hassan was also friendly and knowledgeable and made the day more enjoyable. I’d also recommend getting a Hammam in the Riad. The only negative is the Riad is quite noisy……

“Although more of a hostel, if you can score a private room, it’s a very hip propert, filled with internationals. Breakfast is solid and the sun deck is nice but only has 4 loungers so be sure to snag one!”

“It was a central location and close to everything you needed. Anything that was further away was never a problem to just jump in a taxi which was always right out front. We opted for the horse and carriage instead. Very friendly staff”

“This hotel is an old fashioned Riad, which is quiet, comfortable and relaxing. The staff were all attentive and helpful. It has a slightly unusual arrangement in that the swimming pool formed part of the dining room, which meant that diners and swimmers were only a few feet apart. Hotel reception were very helpful in organising taxis where necessary. All in all, a good insight into old style Marrakech living. ”

“We had a great few days at La Koutoubia. If it was adults only and the downstairs pool was heated, this place would be perfect! The Indian restaurant was great! ”

Every touch point from check in to making reservations, needing laundry service to getting us a cab, was thoughtful. The rooms were clean and the restaurants were excellent.
