I really loved this place. The room was a cross between an elegant hotel room in a classic hotel to a guest room in a villa. This place has true, old school vibes while being perfectly modern in all amenities. The location is perfect. Two minor cautions. First, must be able to carry your bag up stairs and not be uncomfortable climbing them to get to your room. Second, make sure you get check in directions because the desk isn’t staffed outside their listed hours. I hope to come back because I loved it there.

Lovely B&B in a quiet neighborhood, very central location, helpful staff, breakfast is already in the room - coffee, bread & biscuits. This place is spotlessly clean. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Great location, close to port and shopping and restaurants. Staff is so nice and helpful. There are a lot of steps to get to the rooms and they are a little narrow. The staff helped with bags which was amazing but this is probably not good if you have mobility issues. I highly recommend and would stay again.

Breve vacanza a Palermo

A wonderful stay at Locanda del Gagini. Sylvie is lovely and very welcoming. The main bed frame is metal and squeaks. A lot. However, overall the stay was absolutely great and highly recommended.

We only stayed one night at this property on our way through Palermo and it was nice but I wouldn't want to stay much longer. Our room was on the 3rd floor with no elevator and the steps were steep and narrow. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the location was good for walking to nearby shops and restaurants.

Nice stay at Locanda di Gagini

It was all self check-in. A little confusing at first because we thought we had to find our room key, but they had left a key card on the desk. More like a B&B (not hotel). 3rd floor room has many steps to carry suitcases. Good location. Wonderful breakfast and attentive friendly service.

Gem located in a wonderful old city.

Locanda del Gagini was a gem located in the heart of Palermo. The staff provided excellent service, and they were always attentive to our every need. Our room was lovely, and provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The hotel is located in an older part of the city, and there were many things to see and do in close proximity. The central train station could be reached by foot with no issues. The additional transfer service from the airport was very helpful as well.

Great stay in Palermo

We had a great stay at the apartment in August. The owners communicated with us really well. All the things that we could possibly need were there. The best feature is that the apartment is located right in the center of Palermo, very close to the tourist attractions, streets with stores, restaurants and bars. This apartment is a large suite with great air conditioning. Beds are very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious! All in all, great experience in every aspect!

We had a large comfortable room. The hotel is an old small hotel without an elevator and the stairs are steep. Silvia was so helpful and responded via messaging very quickly. There was no one at reception except when we met her the first morning.
